Montauban
We changed it up this week and headed South East of here to the "pink" city of Montauban. The stark contrast between the rock structures we are used to and the red brick used in the Medieval construction of Montauban was a feast for the eyes.
There's news from the Olympic village and more French baseball to talk about as well. -
La Roque-Gageac
Our plan came together. On today's podcast we returned to the Dordogne to travel up the river by boat through the beautiful village of La Roque-Gageac.
The Michelin folks are adding Hotels to their rating system and Julie has more on France's new proposed "rabbit" tax. -
Medieval War Museum
If you're planning a trip to Southwest France, consider checking out the Medieval War Museum at the Chateau Castlenaud. What a visit. Also on today's show, we look at the happiest countries in the world.

Musée des Beaux-Arts D'Agen
We decided that it was time for some culture, as a result, a visit to the Musée des Beaux-Arts D'Agen was in order. There are a couple of Olympic updates in this week's podcast. And Julie takes us through the grueling life of a Michelin restaurant inspector.

Moirax
This is probably a good time to give our Facebook page a shout-out. You can follow along with our adventures @jeffandjuliemovetofrance. This week, we will feature plenty of photos from our trip to the charming village of Moirax, where we were treated to an 11th century cathedral, and a Michelin restaurant.

Clément Artisan Culinaire
On this week's Chapter, one adventure led to another. We made a culinary stop at our first Bib Gourmand restaurant, Clèment Artisan Culinaire in Lauzun.
That prompted a visit to one of Clément's wine providers, Le Clos du Breil. Bonne appétit!

Fabulous!
I started at the beginning, listened to all the episodes, and now look forward to every Friday’s episode drop. Jeff and Julie give a funny, honest, and entertaining view on life in France. I am also learning French and this week I finally understood the French phrase of the day. Thank you Jeff & Julie!
Disappointed, so much melodrama
The premise seemed really interesting, a North American couple moving to France detailing the experience. But particularly the male host is so over the top melodramatic and full of faux outrage. Yes, I’ve heard the it’s challenging to get through all the bureaucracy to complete a move like this. But I was hoping for a down to earth accounting of the processes and tips for success. Instead it’s morning radio shock jock genre. Too much. I can’t listen to any more episodes. Too bad, the concept had potential.
