    In the first segment, hosts Alicia Malone (TCM) and Tom Meyers (The Bowery Boys) recap the final episode of The Gilded Age season 1. 

     

    In the second segment the hosts have a two-part interview discussion with members of the cast and crew. First, they are joined by Donna Murphy (Mrs. Astor) and EP Gareth Neame to discuss the Mrs. Astor and Bertha Russell confrontation. Then, costume designer Kasia Walicka-Maimone discusses the elaborate and detailed costumes worn throughout the production, and Sonja Warfield (Co-EP/Writer) talks about writing alongside Julian Fellowes and producing the show.

    In Part two, they are joined by Denée Benton (Peggy Scott) to discuss Denée’s role in actively shaping Peggy’s storyline and character development, and production designer Bob Shaw to discuss the technical and creative decisions he and his crew had to make while designing for the production.

A Great Companion to the Series

One of the most enjoyable part of watching the series was listening to the accompanying podcast. I looked forward to listening to it and learning more about the series as the series itself. Am so looking forward to season 2.

The gilded age

This is and was a great season 1 set in the early 1909’s New York City. Can’t wait for season 2
