    The Connection Test: Praise Between the Promise and the Problem

    What do you do when you have a promise in your ear but a problem in your hand? In this message from The Blessing of Connecting, Pastor Aaron Pino teaches from Genesis 46-47 and the life of Jacob about the difficult space between receiving a promise from God and seeing that promise fulfilled. Jacob had heard from God, but he was still facing famine, uncertainty, and an unfamiliar future. In that tension, his faith was tested. The same thing happens in our lives. We know what God has spoken, but what we are holding does not always look like what He promised. The answer is not to abandon the promise. It is to guard what comes out of your mouth while you are walking through the process. Jacob had a moment where frustration turned into complaint, but he caught himself and returned to blessing. That becomes the lesson for us: When you have a promise in your ear but a problem in your hand, put a praise in your mouth. The process is not proof that God has forgotten you. It may be the very place where He is preparing you to carry what He promised.     Change Your Lens: How to Connect Beyond What You Can See | The Blessing of Connecting Pt. 2

    What if God is already moving in your life, but the lens you are looking through is keeping you from recognizing it? In Part 2 of The Blessing of Connecting, Pastor Aaron Pino teaches from Luke 24 and the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Jesus was walking beside them, yet pain, disappointment, and preconceived ideas kept them from recognizing Him. This message identifies three lenses that can keep us from connecting with God and others: pain, preconceptions, and perspective. Your pain may be real, but it does not have to become the lens through which you see your future. What happened before does not have to determine what you believe God can do next. And when your circumstances seem to contradict the promise, choose the Word over what you can see. The way you change your lens is by rehearsing the faithfulness of God.     How to Activate God’s Favor | Decide & Declare | The Favor Factor WK 3

    The Favor Factor WK 4: Activate Favor Pt. 1 God’s favor has already been made available to every believer through Jesus Christ, but how do we activate it and begin living in it? In Part 1 of “Activate Favor,” Apostle Aaron Pino teaches two essential keys found throughout Scripture: decide and declare. First, you must decide that you are favored by God. Settle it in your heart and mind that because you have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus, God’s favor belongs to you. Your circumstances, emotions, failures, and the opinions of others do not change what God has declared over your life. Second, you must declare what God has declared. Your mouth must agree with the Word of God. Using Moses’ conversation with God in Exodus 33, Apostle Aaron explains how Moses brought God’s promise of favor back before Him and refused to move forward without His presence.
