Conscious creation when your world is torn apart by terror. Everyday hero: Idit Ohel

What happens when the unthinkable becomes your reality? On October 7, 2023, Idit Ohel's 22-year-old son, Alon Ohel, was taken hostage by Hamas from the Nova Music Festival and held underground in Gaza for 738 days. Most of us imagine that in the face of such unimaginable suffering, our only options would be fear, anger, hatred or despair. Idit chose a different path. In this conversation, we explore the extraordinary mindset that carried her through nearly two years of uncertainty—not by denying the pain, but by refusing to become defined by it. We talk about: Why she chose to meet hatred with unconditional love. How she held space for her son spiritually while being unable to help him physically. The difference between pain, trauma and what she calls "positive post-trauma." Why she believes we always have a choice in who we become, regardless of what life asks of us.Her understanding of force, justice, forgiveness and personal responsibility. The role of meditation, consciousness and inner alignment during times of profound crisis. Why she believes both she and Alon's souls chose this journey - and how that belief transformed the way she walked through it.This is not a conversation about politics. It is a conversation about what it means to remain deeply human when the world gives you every reason not to. About whether love can exist alongside unimaginable pain. About how we move forward when life no longer resembles the future we imagined. And ultimately... about the extraordinary freedom that comes from choosing the quality of consciousness we bring to our circumstances. About Idit Ohel Idit Ohel is the mother of former hostage Alon Ohel. Throughout Alon's captivity she became known for her unwavering hope, her international advocacy, and her commitment to meeting unimaginable suffering with compassion, courage and conscious action. Some of the most profound insights came from a pre-interview conversation with Idit before we formally recorded the podcast. They were simply too meaningful to leave on the cutting room floor, so we've woven them into this conversation. The fight for inner stability when you've lost "everything": Dan Pomerantz

If you could only afford therapy or food - which would you choose? It sounds like an odd question. We'd think that the obvious answer would be food. That's the choice Dan Pomerantz weighed up at his personal rock bottom... and he chose... therapy. It was a question of choosing to cultivate inner stability in order to get back on his feet and create the outer safety we all need. While moving through homelessness, Dan looked to build his internal home which helped him develop the faculties to make the choices which would lead him towards an external life of alignment - eventually becoming the CEO of a company that was driving a mission close to his heart. This is an episode about - The ability to find unity points within conflict - Using love as an ACTION - actively searching for the ways in which we can connect with people we might disagree with - The power of learning how to trust the flow of Nature even when our histories tell us that life doesn’t always go our way - How Dan transcended his experiences as a child of narcissistic abuse - Living in alignment with dharma (right action) - Following what is expansive for our growth… even when it’s hard If you want to learn Vedic meditation - or have me come and teach a course in your city for your family and friends get in touch www.tracyalexander.co If you’d like to connect with me on Instagram my handle is tracyalexander__  and if you’d like to learn more about my mentoring, meditation, stress management and mindset coaching, head to my website www.tracyalexander.co.

    Guided relaxation to offset stress

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Allow yourself to be guided into a state of relaxation to help balance the nervous system in times of great stress. As you navigate this time of challenge or uncertainty the mind and body can feel overwhelmed, making it harder to think clearly or feel steady. This is your moment to come back to yourself - to find calm, ground into your body, and reconnect with a sense of inner strength and clarity.  This time is for you, to recharge and reconnect with the knowledge that even in chaos, there is always support beneath you and within you. When we settle into the present, we remind ourselves that we are capable of navigating even the most difficult challenges, one step at a time. -- Home Of Sapiens is about authenticity and creating a safe space for us to talk about the world in a way that gives us hope that we can move in the right direction. In a world that’s hypnotised us into believing that our worth is tied to what we achieve, what we own, and how we’re perceived, this is where the rebellion begins. When we transform from the inside out, we break free from those illusions. We learn to sit with discomfort, not as something to escape but as the birthplace of true power. This is where we stop outsourcing our happiness and start creating a life that’s deeply ours—a life that not only elevates us but inspires a world longing for authenticity and courage. Being Natural and the Art of Surrender

We're back baby! This is a coming back home episode. ** I use the word suicide in this episode. If hearing this word will trigger you, please don't listen at this time. After a 6 month hiatus we're opening up the airwaves again - and we're talking all about taking our power back by being NATURAL - together - side by side, in community We'll learn that when we align our individual desires with Nature's desires we experience the greatest amount of flow and that being CHOICE-LESS is actually what we want! It all comes down to the art of surrender.
