Hi, my name is Bennett. I’m a Roman Catholic learning about my Faith every day. I love to talk about things that I learn, so I decided (with God’s grace) to try and do so on the Internet. Hopefully both you and I will learn and grow in the Faith as we make this journey.

    What are the Odds?

In this episode, I talk about the terrible odds of you existing, and what that means about your role in, well, everything. Unfortunately, this is the last episode of Young Catholic Speaks for the foreseeable future. I hope to resume production eventually, so be sure to subscribe just in case! Mary is Your Mother

In this short episode, I talk about how Mary is both the Mother of the Church and our own Mother. Why You Should Pray the Rosary

The Rosary is the only topic I have covered twice. It's that important to me. You should have seen my script; it didn't have everything I originally intended to say, and it looked like a Choose Your Own Adventure (Skip to page 4; skip to page 7). Hands and Feet

In this short episode, I talk about how Jesus gives us His whole Self in the Eucharist, and how we should offer Him our whole selves in return. You could say it's my contribution to the Eucharistic Revival that the bishops of the United States are calling for. Released March 23, 2024.

    A Different Look at Lent

Lent is a time of sorrow for sins, but Jesus also calls us to make it a time of freedom. Please note that in this episode, I don't condemn all entertainment. Many movies, TV shows, books, videogames, and even the occasional social media post is meaningful and good. I also tried a new thing by adlibbing this episode. If I didn't do great, please stick around; I hope that practice will make me better at it. Released February 24, 2024.

    Artificial Intelligence

In this episode, I talk about what artificial intelligence is, how it works, how it can help us, and how it can hurt us. Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool, but with great power comes great responsibility. Please forgive any audio issues. After two years, I'm still learning the best ways to record audio. Please consider supporting me on Patreon. The link to my Patreon page is patreon.com/youngcatholic Released January 27, 2024.

    Patron Saints

In this episode, I explain what "patron saint" means, and why the Church gives patronages to the Saints. I hope y'all have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Released December 23, 2023.

  8. 11/25/2023

    Days of Rest

God rested on the seventh day for a reason, but... what was that reason again? And do we really use our days of rest as God intended? Released November 25, 2023
