#3 A 20 Year Bikram Yoga Journey – Interview with Nicole

In this episode of the Happiness Safari Podcast, I sit down with Nicole, a Bikram Yoga teacher trainee from Canada, whose relationship with the practice spans two decades — and a journey that is anything but a straight line. Nicole first found Bikram Yoga on a backpacking trip in Australia 20 years ago. The class was hard. She was challenged in ways she hadn't expected. And yet — something stayed with her. Over the years her practice ebbed and flowed, shaped by where she lived and how life looked at the time. It was a yoga retreat in Europe that eventually brought her to Teacher Training — and to a whole new chapter. We talk about what it really means to stick with something across 20 years, the injuries that taught her to pull back and trust the process, and one of the most powerful lessons the hot room can teach: sometimes less effort leads to more. We also get into the honest challenges of Teacher Training — especially the dialogue — and what helped her find her way through. In this episode you'll discover: ✨ How Nicole stumbled across Bikram Yoga on a trip to Australia  ✨ What an on-and-off 20-year practice actually looks like — and why that's okay  ✨ The injury that taught her to do less and receive more  ✨ Her experience learning the dialogue during Teacher Training  ✨ How the practice has transformed her physical awareness, mental clarity, and emotional balance This one is for you if you've ever felt like your practice has been inconsistent — and wondered if that means you're doing it wrong. #2 How Bikram Yoga Woke Me Up – Interview with Kati Saira

In this episode of the Happiness Safari Podcast, I sit down with Kati Saira, a Bikram Yoga teacher from Finland, whose path to the hot room is one of those stories that reminds you: the practice finds you when you're ready. I actually met Kati at Teacher Training in the fall of 2017 — and ever since, I've wanted to share her story with you. We talk about how Kati started yoga in Tallinn over 20 years ago, how life as a runner eventually led her somewhere deeper, and how a chance encounter with a Bikram pose in a library book set everything in motion. She found her first studio in Helsinki in 2014 — walked into that hot room thinking she was strong — and was humbled in the best possible way. That challenge was exactly what she needed. We also talk about what it really means to wake yourself up through practice, how a friend nudged her toward Teacher Training, and that feeling so many of us know: there was something stronger than me in that room. In this episode you'll discover:  ✨ How Kati's yoga journey began in Tallinn — long before Bikram  ✨ Why a library visit in Helsinki changed everything  ✨ What her first Bikram class felt like as an experienced mover  ✨ How a friend's nudge led her all the way to Teacher Training  ✨ What it means to truly wake yourself up through this practice This one is for you if you've ever walked into a Bikram class and been surprised by what you found — in the room, and in yourself. #63 Unlocking the Power of the Unconscious Mind: How Rapid Transformational Therapy Can Improve Your Life ✨Interview with Patrycja Therapist

Welcome to the Happiness Safari Podcast! I'm Nadine, and my mission is to guide individuals on their journey of self-discovery through yoga and coaching. I teach online and in person and run unique yoga retreats worldwide. On today's Podcast episode, I talk to Patrycja; she started on a journey of self-healing, facing financial struggles, dissatisfaction with her job, lack of self-confidence and no meaningful relationships. She turned to books, documentaries and people for guidance, using techniques such as Ho'oponopono, Theta Healing, affirmations, meditations, manifesting and self-hypnosis. Along the way, she found her own unshakable belief, love and trust in a Higher Power. She discovered that many of her clients were also looking for answers, and she realized she could help them. She shares her knowledge about Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), a type of therapy that combines elements of hypnotherapy, neuroscience, and cognitive-behavioural therapy. It is designed to help individuals overcome various issues, including anxiety, depression, and addiction. RTT is typically administered by trained therapists and focuses on assisting individuals in identifying and changing the underlying beliefs and patterns of behaviour contributing to their problems. From this episode, you will learn. ✨why your life has something to do with yourself ✨how you can identify the blocks stopping you from being happy ✨how Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) can change your unconscious behaviours and believes ✨how you can learn a language in your sleep Links to the episode: Get in touch with Patrycja.
