Jesus Christ: God’s Solution for Mankind | Evangelist Joshua Samuel

We’re in week 3 of our “This Is Good News” series, reflecting on John 8: when the woman caught in adultery is brought before Jesus, He responds by writing on the ground, revealing His heart of mercy over humiliation, turning the focus from her sin to the hearts of her accusers, and showing that God offers forgiveness, not condemnation. Then He says, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone first,” and as they walk away, He tells her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” This is the Gospel, Jesus doesn’t shame, He restores.Sermon Points1. Holy Spirt’s anointing didn't come for wealth or success, it came to preach the gospel to a world in distress.2. Jesus is drawn to the poor in spirit, the brokenhearted, the captive, and the blind. He comes to rescue your life and make you new inside.3. Jesus is coming back as Judge, but today is still the day of grace.Let mercy meet you now, before judgement seal your case. Our generosity, His Gospel. Communication that heals | Relationships | Pastor Philip Pimlott

Today, we had the honor and privilege of welcoming our Overseer, Pastor Philip Pimlott, as he led us into Week 2 of our Relationship Series. The message, “Communication That Heals,” emphasized the power of words and the unique ways men and women communicate. Pastor Philip unpacked the dynamics between male and female communication and shared practical wisdom on how we can improve our communication for the benefit of our relationships. We were also reminded that communication is a gift from God, meant to be used to build, encourage, and uplift one another in love. Key Scriptures James 1:19 (NLT), Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV), Ephesians 4:29 (NIV), Proverbs 18:20–21 (NKJV) , Matthew 12:36–37 (NKJV) , Matthew 12:33–35 (NKJV) ,Ephesians 5:33 (NKJV) , Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) , Proverbs 3:3 (NKJV) ,1 Peter 3:4 (NKJV) Teaching Points | Communication That Heals Communication is the essential element of every great relationship.God has a standard for how we speak. Danger #1: Not Understanding the Power of Words Our words are NUCLEAR. God’s plan is for our mouths to bring life to ourselves and others. Truths About Words: 1- Words Don’t Evaporate Spoken words are recorded in heaven and lodge in people’s hearts. 2- Words Reveal the Heart You know your heart by listening to your mouth. Your words are telling on you. 3- Words Without Action Words are part of the equation, but they cannot replace obedience. 4- Words Are Not Powerless 5- Bad Words Can Produce Results But results without God’s way always come at a cost. Danger #2: Men and Women Communicate Differently Women often have a need to talk — not wrong, just different. It’s okay for someone to have a need you don’t have. Core Needs: A woman needs LOVE A man needs RESPECT How We Hear:Women hear through security and love Men hear through honor and respect The way you say it is often more important than what you say. Healthy Communication Keys A) Caring Speak with genuine concern. B) Praise Praise is a discipline that keeps us focused on what’s right. You can address hard things positively when praise leads. C) Truth Truth without mercy is meanMercy without truth is meaningless D) Faith Trust that if what you’re saying is right, God will enforce it. E) Surrender God can use your mouth more than any other part of your body to bring change and healing.
