Howdy, If you like sh*t talking you're in the right place. Only thing is.... we are sh*t talking about ourselves (but in like a good way). On this podcast, you will listen to the lessons I learn as I learn them, life updates, and all the thoughts and experiences I have as I work towards being a better me. This is simply my outlet and I hope your find it entertaining enough.

    Breakups and Potential Makeups?

Call it what you want, but I am only human and I am figuring it out. Things change quick around here especially in regards how I feel about particular situations. Every week I discover something new about myself and every week I am learning and growing. Sue me for being wishy washy. It is all our first times here on Earth. It is important to extend grace to yourself and to others. Always.

    It's been a minute... let's catch up

Hello friends! It has been almost 3 years wow. I probably did a terrible job catching you guys up, but it's like... where do I even start? This is just a general overview of where I am in life and where my head is. I will definitely do a deeper dive next time but I am just ecstatic to be back!

    Being Realistic in 2023...

New year same you, sucka! Let's be real in 2023, I think that is a good goal for us all. Set goals and be excited BUT think about what you actually want to accomplish and how you actually intend on doing that. In 2023 we are not making long "this year I will.." lists. Honestly, let's just pick a few things we have been putting off or are repeat offenders from our previous years resolutions lists. Cheers.

    Lex talk about ~awareness~

Per usual, I like to discuss topics that show up in my life. This one in particular has been in the forefront but I just wasn't ~aware~ enough to see the need for change.  I want to emphasize the importance of asking yourself "why" and what it looks like to really know yourself below the surface.  Reaching a level of self awareness not only betters your quality of life, but your relationships will strengthen, and you'll finally stop seeking validation/ happiness in everyone and everywhere else.

When the going gets tough, I give up

I wanted to bring to light some conversations and realizations I have had lately about myself and the way I have acted in the past. It is hard to realize our shit stinks, but it is the only way we can really grow. We need to notice the not-so-self serving behaviors we have been partaking in and try to figure out how to do/ look at situations differently in the future. Becoming self aware is a long journey and I haven't even really started the race.

Do you actually have a commitment problem or are you lazy?

In this little motivational ep I want to encourage you and myself to try to be self reflective and to think about the things you are wanting and what you are actually doing. I am talking to myself as well when I say- YOU DON'T HAVE A COMMITMENT PROBLEM YOU HAVE A DISCLIPINE ISSUE. The challenge this year is to start actually doing the things we say we want to do and stop making excuses.

gym anxiety and women complimenting women

Here is my slight rant about owning your power in the gym, realizing no one is actually looking at you, and having less expectations. Join me as we try to fall in love with the process not the result and do it for ourselves. Also, let's normalize women giving other women genuine compliments please.

mini ep- this one is for you, mom

Due to my mother's feedback, I wanted to be more encouraging on this Friday jr. I am here to grow with you and remind myself and you to let go of expectations and to enjoy all the small moments on the good days and the bad. I also challenge you to say 3 affirming statements then try to live by them on this day.

mini ep- fake it till you make it

Mini episode for your mid-week pick me up. I had to get this off my chest as I continue to apply for jobs and interview this week while struggling with imposter syndrome. I also wanted to encourage myself and you all to continue to fake it till you make it!

being content, instant gratification, and social media comparison

As I work on being content with life and not always seeking the next new exciting thing, I wanted to share the struggles that come with it and how I have been feeling lately and maybe try to find the root. Let us try to be thankful for what we do have and to remember life on ig isn't as "interesting" as it may appear.
