Metabolic health through a woman’s life cycles with Prof. Christian Breymann

In this episode of One Thirty Biohacks, we’re back with Prof. Christian Breymann — this time to talk about metabolic health as one of the most important foundations for long-term longevity, and why it becomes even more relevant across the hormonal shifts a woman goes through. We explore how metabolic health intersects with perimenopause and menopause, and why symptoms are often misunderstood when we don’t look at the full picture: blood sugar regulation, inflammation, body composition, energy production, and the way hormones and metabolism constantly influence each other. We also touch on PCOS (and the evolving terminology and understanding of the condition), and why it’s often a metabolic story as much as it is a reproductive one. Finally, we dive into a topic that deserves far more attention: iron deficiency — what it can look like in real life, why it’s so common, and how countries like Switzerland use high-dose iron infusions as standard practice (while it’s still far less common in Denmark). A conversation with real takeaways and a few perspectives worth learning from. About Prof. Christian Breymann Prof. Breymann is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology based in Zurich, Switzerland, with a long-standing clinical focus on women’s health across life stages. He is also part of the advisory board for Nomi, supporting our mission to raise the standard for women’s health and hormone care. Can we really change our lives by changing the stories we tell ourselves?

In this episode of One Thirty Biohacks, I sit down with psychotherapist, speaker, and founder of Compassionate Inquiry, Stephanie Canavesio, for a conversation that challenged some of my deepest assumptions about healing, human potential, and personal transformation. We explore how our unconscious patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds shape the way we experience the world — and how many of the limitations we carry today may simply be old narratives we have never questioned. What makes this episode especially unique is that it became incredibly personal. In a completely unplanned moment, Stephanie guided me through a live somatic exploration of a recent trigger, allowing listeners to witness what it actually looks like when we move beyond intellectual understanding and into embodied healing. Together we discuss: • Why awareness alone is often not enough to create change • How our nervous system stores old experiences and emotional patterns • The connection between childhood adaptations and adult behaviours • Compassionate Inquiry and the power of asking different questions • Human potential, self-sabotage, and the stories that keep us stuck • The difference between understanding a trigger and truly processing it • A live, unscripted somatic healing session around one of my own recent triggers This is a conversation about what becomes possible when we stop identifying with our past and start becoming curious about the stories we have been living by. If you’ve ever felt trapped in recurring patterns, emotional reactions, or versions of yourself that no longer serve you, this episode might offer a completely different perspective. Hosted on Acast. The Launch of NOMAE: Rethinking Female Health with Tine Hertz

In this episode, the host Tine Hertz - founder of One Thirty Labs, introduces NOMAE, a new female health clinic created under the One Thirty Labs umbrella and dedicated entirely to women’s health, hormones, and longevity. Together with Kristine Bernhoft, the conversation explores the realities many women experience but rarely feel properly informed about: changing energy levels, sleep disturbances, mood shifts, hormonal fluctuations, and the transition through perimenopause and menopause. The episode discusses why women’s health has historically been underrepresented in healthcare conversations, the emotional and psychological impact of hormonal change, and why a more personalised, holistic approach to female health is needed. NOMAE was created to offer women a place where they feel heard, informed, and supported — with a focus on hormonal medicine, preventive care, and long-term female health. Topics covered include: • hormonal health and perimenopause • common signs and symptoms women experience • the emotional and psychological side of hormonal change • why many women feel dismissed in traditional healthcare settings • the importance of education, testing, and personalised support • the vision behind NOMAE and the future of female health A thoughtful conversation about understanding the female body with more clarity, precision, and care. Healing from within: mind, body and agency with Samantha Claire

In today’s episode of One Thirty Biohacks, we sit down with Samantha Claire to explore one of the most provocative questions in modern health: Are we capable of healing ourselves - physically and emotionally - by changing our thoughts, beliefs and inner state? Samantha shares her personal story of navigating major health challenges, including bilateral hip dysplasia and cervical cancer, and how that journey led her to take radical ownership of her health. We talk about agency, mindset, and the often overlooked connection between the nervous system, emotions and the body. This conversation isn’t about denial or “positive thinking fixes everything.” It’s about the role of the subconscious, the stories we repeat, and how shifting internal patterns can change how we cope, recover, and move forward — even in the middle of uncertainty. We explore: The link between thoughts, emotions and physical symptomsWhat it means to reprogram beliefs from the inside outWhy agency is one of the most powerful health tools we haveHow to connect mind, body and soul in a grounded, practical waySmall steps that can create real change over timeIf you’ve ever doubted the power of the mind-body connection — or felt the call to take more ownership of your health - this episode will give you both inspiration and a new lens. Childhood patterns, adult love: why high performers often struggle in relationships with Kathrine Estes

In today’s episode of One Thirty Biohacks, we explore the emotional programs we carry from childhood into our adult relationships — especially romantic relationships — and why many smart, successful people often struggle in love. We sit down with Kathrine Estes, founder of Illuma Somatics and a hypnotherapist currently completing her Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Copenhagen. Her work draws on trauma research, attachment theory and embodied psychology to explore how subconscious patterns shape identity, relationships, creativity and performance. With a cross-cultural lens shaped by extensive travel, she brings a grounded perspective on modern relationships and the psychology of high-performing individuals. We talk about:   •  How early relationships create subconscious templates for love, safety and self-worth   •  Why the patterns that drive success (control, independence, perfectionism, hyper-responsibility) can also block intimacy   •  The role of the nervous system in attraction, conflict, avoidance and emotional reactivity   •  How hypnotherapy and somatic approaches can help shift patterns that no longer serve you   •  What it means to rewire your relationship to love — without forcing it or performing it If you’ve ever felt stuck in repeating the same relationship dynamic — or wondered why love feels harder than everything else you’re good at — this episode will give you clarity, language and a new way to understand yourself.
