    Ep.423 SAMP & CHANCE WRESTLING — REMEMBERING PAC

    The wrestling world is mourning the sudden passing of Benjamin Satterley, better known to fans around the world as PAC, at just 40 years old. On this emotional episode of Samp & Chance Wrestling, we take a look back at the life, career and legacy of one of professional wrestling’s most incredible athletes. From his early days on the British independent scene, to his time in WWE as Neville, and ultimately his run in AEW, PAC established himself as a truly unique performer. His speed, athleticism, intensity and innovative wrestling style made him one of the most recognizable talents of his generation. But this episode is about more than remembering PAC’s accomplishments. His passing also brings up an important conversation about the health, safety and well-being of professional wrestlers. Are wrestling promotions doing enough to protect their talent? What responsibility do companies have when it comes to medical care, physical health, recovery time and the long-term well-being of their performers? And how can WWE, AEW and other promotions continue to deliver the professional wrestling fans love while doing everything possible to protect the men and women who put their bodies on the line? We discuss these difficult questions while being careful not to speculate about PAC’s passing. His cause of death has not been publicly disclosed. Most importantly, this episode is a celebration of PAC — The Man That Gravity Forgot — and the incredible impact he had on professional wrestling.
