    029. Ryan Lashlee. How to stay cool.

21 days until Summer! We love training in the summer. It's beautiful. Everyone wants to be outside. Ice cream and slushies just hit different. It is also HOT. Heat is an element of summer that we all kind of react to differently. Some really enjoy the heat. Others can stand the heat. Heat (like freezing temperatures) can have a big influence on the way we choose to train and how well we perform. That is why we thought it would be a great idea to speak with someone that has done a little research on 'How to stay cool.' To refresh the memories, we had Ryan on the podcast in episode 012, where he talked about how we need to stop breathing the wrong way. In this episode, Ryan gives us tips on how to stay cool before and during training in the heat. Ryan is certified in Functional Movement, and through out the process of becoming certified, breathing techniques and heat management are only some of the things he quickly became a passionate about within the required material. **Disclaimer: Neither we nor Ryan Lashlee are Medical Professionals.
