Audio Only Create Stories During The Day

In today’s video, we discuss how to tell stories while building your art brand during your day when your creative flow is disrupted by life events (like a doctor’s appointment in the middle of the day). You can create a content creation strategy and tell your brand’s story in the moments during your day that contain small breaks. What do you do with those micro breaks, 15-20 minutes segments, while you’re waiting between appointments? Create content and build your brand by telling a story. I offer some creative time management tips to help you get more done. I also talk about offering your customers value during your day by releasing mindful pieces of micro content that you create in between appointments. Don’t let your creative flow get disrupted. Use those moments during your day in a creative way: build your brand, tell a story through video or audio or write down your thoughts in your notes on your phone for a blog post. Lastly, I discuss how if you have time to consume social media, then you have time to create value for your brand, build brand awareness and keep the creative flow going throughout your day by creating content instead of consuming content. Who uses the excuse: I don’t have time AND you consume social media? If you have time to consume social media, then you have time to create posts for social media to help build your art brand awareness. The more content you post, the more likely someone is to see it and ask, “Who is this person?” and then go check you out on your website. Don’t waste your valuable time by consuming. Content is king for building organic reach for your art brand. Use your time wisely by creating content for people that offers value. You won’t regret when the sales are rolling in down the road. If you don’t start or never try, then you’ll never know. Start now. Start posting now. And post more often. Your story matters because you matter and your art brand matters. 2. Using Pinterest Vision Boards To Manifest the Future and Dreaming Beyond Your Current Life Situation

    03/17/2022

Using Pinterest Vision Boards To Manifest the Future and Dreaming Beyond Your Current Life Situation

Today is a fun walk in the park where we talk about Pinterest Boards and how they can help you manifest your future. Pinterest Boards or vision boards, in general, can help you plan for the future or give you a more realistic view of what your future could and will look like. Using Pinterest Vision boards also have downsides because there is so much content to pin, and you could be overwhelmed by so many options. Perhaps using other alternatives like Canva to create a digital vision board would be a better option for people, such as myself, who suffer from overwhelm using Pinterest. I talk about the curated-looking life on Pinterest with it's perfect images, and how that's not what we're after here. I share with you how I used Pinterest to manifest my future move to Italy so I have an idea of what my future will look like in a realistic way. I talk about my story and how I'm feeling hope and excitement for the first time in a long time. We discuss what searching for happiness and never feeling like you fit in looks like in my life as an example. Doing vision boards can be soothing and calm your anxiety because you get a chance to dream about your future. You get a chance to look beyond what is happening in your current situation and what is currently coming up for you that is negative, like pain, depression, anxiety, tough experience, and how you can use a vision board to dream beyond the pain---imagine your future self without the current story that's coming up for you right now. I realized I was including my pain stories of the present and they were standing in the way of me dreaming into the future. I.E. I wasn't allowing myself to dream or manifest anything without including my current pain situation. Dream beyond your pain and your current story. Imagine your life in the future without your pain and see how it could look like beyond what you're experiencing right now. We are all so stuck in our current stories. We need to give ourselves the permission to dream and look into the future without our current painful story. Don't limit your future based on what is happening in your life right now. If you are questioning things like: what gives you he audacity to dream? or how can trauma from a life experience affect your future goals and plans, then this video is for you! Let yourself manifest, plan, dream and set goals using vision boards on Pinterest without limiting yourself. Don't stand in your own way. Imagine yourself in the future without the pain or painful story you're living through or experiencing right now. You've got this! 3. Why You Should Always Sign And Date Your Work: Art Journals, Finished and Unfinished Art Pieces

Why You Should Always Sign And Date Your Work: Art Journals, Finished and Unfinished Art Pieces

If you have produced any art piece, a page in your art journal, a quick sketch you did while you were waiting for your car to get fixed. It doesn’t matter. Sign it and date it. Here what this topic is NOT about: signing and dating your art so someone can discover it when you pass on. That is NOT the point I’m trying to make. That is a reason to sign and date your art, but it’s not the point of this video. Why: Reason 1: As time goes by, the likelihood increases that you may not remember when you did this piece. I have pieces I’ve forgotten to sign and date. I can still put my name on it, but the date might escape me. This is information you may want to have going forward. Reason 2: It serves as a way to catalog your work to show when you started the process, and you can see the progress you’ve made in your art journey. I have sketchbooks from when I first started taking drawing classes as an adult in 2017. I have paintings I did back in 2012 and 2013 when I first got into taking painting classes at one of those painting and wine classes. In those classes the art teacher would always say: sign and date your work. The teacher never said why. Reason 3: Own your work. Have the self-confidence to put your name on your piece and date it so that you can mark the point on your journey when you made the piece. Keep listening for more reasons! How To Make A Starscape Digital Collage Using Canva As A Digital Art Journaling Medium

Today’s daily prompt is Starscape. I walk you through step-by-step and show you how to create my final piece using Canva. We make a digital art journal collage using a free software called Canva. Today you learn how to use images in Canva and put them on a digital canvas and make a starscape. I don’t know what the final product will look like until the end of the video because I’m creating as I go. This is a great chance to see how I create and a bit behind my creative process. Digital collages are so fun because you get very realistic looking images without having to cut them out of a magazine. Digital collages are great if you don’t have the will or hand strength to cut out images from magazines using scissors. Digital collages using Canva are easy to put together because you can search for the images you want and they are all categorized for you. You don’t have to spend hours looking through magazines: art for the impatient art journaler! You can use Canva to make digital downloads for your business or print on demand merchandise for your business. You can also use it for all of your social media needs. I discuss some of the differences between the Canva Pro account, which I show you in the video, and the free version.
