    Episode 5 - Marco Rossi

    This is an extended episode of Ten Strummers Tales. In this episode Marco Rossi talks about touring  with Kevin McDermott Orchestra supporting Sting amongst others - from playing Wembley Stadium right up to the latest gigs in Glasgow around Xmas 2021. Marco also discusses specific guitar parts on the recordings of many classic KMO releases and a forthcoming solo release. I ask Marco about his influences as a guitarist and of course.....fruit pastilles....

    In this Episode I chat to George Hutchison about his time with Glasgow band Horse and the recording of The Same Sky and God's Home Movie albums. George also touches on his time with The River City People, Bjorn Again, being a writer for a major label and brings us up to date with what he's up to now. We also hear about the gear George used for recording and live work including touring as opening act for B.B King and Tina Turner.

    In this episode Brian McFie discusses the latest album from his band Lola In Slacks as well as the albums released from his time in Glasgow band The Big Dish, including recording with some legendary session musicians. We also hear about Brians love of Gretsch guitars and the other gear that makes up his live rigs as well as his experiences from playing live with the James Grant Band, Greig Taylor, and Marianne Faithful.

Graeme also discusses his influences, his work as a Producer/Engineer , how he started out on guitar and his feelings on trumpet players jackets...!
