    Episode nine - Chelsea Gray

    Chelsea Gray is General Manager of Digital Technologies and Analytics for mining and construction equipment dealer WesTrac. With a Bachelor of Economics - in which she achieved A Class Honours - from the University of Western Australia, Chelsea has held numerous leadership roles focused on technology and business improvement. Since joining WesTrac in 2018, Chelsea has specialised in leading teams to overcome business challenges by leveraging data. One of her strengths – and perhaps it comes from having worked in largely male-dominated environments throughout her career – is her ability to clearly articulate to non-technical people the vital role that data can play in driving better results. Bourby has an MBA from the University of Western Australia, elite international rowing experience and a swathe of awards to her name including Western Australian of the Year (Arts & Culture) in 2019.

    Episode seven - Selina Torrence

    Episode Seven features Selina Torrance, Executive General Manager, Member Experience at HBF. She is responsible for HBF’s marketing, digital, retail and corporate distribution, member propositions, and back-office operations. In her conversation with Margit, Selina shares insights into the value of leadership when stepping in to new roles, identifying personal leadership attributes, championing diversity at the executive level and aspiring for life happiness.  Prior to joining HBF, Selina held several executive positions with both Bankwest and P&N Bank. She has a proven track record in senior leadership roles across diverse functions and industries, with a unique combination of skills and experience in strategic planning, finance, marketing, digital, product development and management, business process excellence, and organisational development. Selina is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AITD) and a graduate of Leadership WA. In 2004, Selina was recognised as the City of Perth award winner in the WA Business News 40Under40 Awards. In 2020, Selina received the Telstra Business Women’s Award for the medium to large business category in WA.

    Episode five - Ashlee Harrison

Although the charity organisation was born from a personal tragedy, it is Ashlee’s mission to empower children and young people across Australia to effect positive change when it comes to mental health. zero2hero aims to prevent suicide in our young people through education, providing the tools to effectively deal with mental health issues openly, normalising these concerns as part of everyday life. Along with her role at zero2hero, Ashlee is also the director of social media consultancy Social Say, a SafeTALK trainer and mentor, who in 2015 was recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence. In this episode, Ashlee speaks with Keogh Senior Consultant Ian Geddes about her zero2hero journey, the importance of team, and her journey as a purposeful leader.

    Episode four - Ian Geddes

    Senior Consultant Ian Geddes, a core member of the Keogh team, has an extensive background in organisational culture and leadership development. For over 20 years Ian has been designing and developing profiling tools to understand people’s behaviour at work an especially important business focus in the time of the "great resignation". In this episode, Ian talks about the opportunities he’s had to combine his two great passions; business transformation and sport. Putting his hand up to volunteer for his children's sporting committee, Ian explains how he progressed the organisation's development to see the club double in size and engage young girls to take up cricket. Ian also uses this opportunity to explain that organisational culture is an eco-system, with three fundamental elements required to flourish.

    Rebecca Tomkinson, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Flying Doctor Service WA believes community is an important consideration in leadership roles. Being a country girl from the Wheatbelt, she has always had an important connection to the community and an interest in how they work. This led Rebecca to study community development at university, learning about community capacity building and how individuals can come together to improve the lives of those around them. Since then, she has worked with communities at all levels of government and the corporate sector.

    Episode one - Prof. Shirley Bowen

    Episode one features Professor Shirley Bowen, Chief Executive Officer of St John of God Subiaco Hospital having been appointed in June 2017. Prior to joining the hospital she was Dean, School of Medicine, Fremantle at the University of Notre Dame. Prof Bowen has more than 20 years' experience in executive management of Hospitals and Public Health and has also maintained her practice as an Infectious Diseases Physician (FRACP). She also holds a Fellowship in Sexual Health Medicine and a Master of Medicine. She is passionate about delivering patient centric care and is committed to visible and authentic leadership.
