    TIPNG VoteCast Episode 001

    TIPNG VoteCast Podcast Episode #1 – Challenges in the lead-up to the 2022 PNG National General Elections.  The TIPNG VoteCast is a Podcast focused on Voter Education and Civic Awareness.  VoteCast aims to shed light on topics surrounding the National General Elections 2022 that the public need to be aware of in order to inform their preparations and participation in the coming elections.   VoteCast is an initiative by Transparency International PNG, as part of our Building Elections Integrity through Partnership (BEIP) project, with funding support through the PNGAust Partnership.   In this first episode, TIPNG Deputy Director - Partnerships & Policy, Yuambari Haihuie speaks with NCD Assistant Election Manager, Roselyn Tabogani about some of the challenges that they have experienced, with the scheduled date for the official Issue of Writs fast approaching.  Below is a list of some of the electoral developments that were discussed during this episode.  • TIPNG host BEIP workshop, Loop PNG (07/02/22)  • Protest Against EC, EMTV (01/02/22)  • Polling Date Moved Forward, Post Courier (08/02/22)  • NCDC signs MOU with Electoral Commission, Post Courier (03/02/22)
