    THC 114: Tomorrowland Redo, Favorite Disney Leaders, the Six Park Challenge, and Disneyland Forward in Walt Disney World

    Join Erik and Tage this week as they are joined by Stephanie and Mike as they discuss what they hope to see in the new Tomorrowland, their favorite Disney leaders, how they would tackle the Six Park Challenge, and how they would bring Disneyland Forward to Walt Disney World if they could. What could encompass the possibilities of tomorrow that could last, if there is one? Question 2: As I make my way through Bob Chapek’s memoirs, I’ve got Disney executive leadership on my mind. Who’s your favorite Disney leader and why? It can be anybody but Walt, please. No need to stick to CEOs either. Question 3: For my 50th birthday next year, I’m planning to take on the Six Park Challenge: visiting all six U.S. Disney parks in one day, riding a ride and eating a snack in each! That got me thinking: if travel time and logistics were no obstacle, what would YOUR perfect six-park Disney day look like? Pick one ride and one snack from each park—and tell us which park you’d choose to end your birthday celebration in! Question 4: I ask a lot of Disneyland questions, but I’ll ask a Disney World question this time! What “Disneyland Forward” like project would you like to see at WDW? Bonus Questions: What do you do for work — but describe it only in Disney terminology? Think about your daily grind and translate it into park-speak. What would your job title be if you worked for Mickey? Exaggerate it, romanticize it, dumb it down — have fun with it! A few ways to think about it: How would a Cast Member describe your job to a wide-eyed 5-year-old? What’s the Disney equivalent of your role? What would your name tag say?

    Join Erik and Tage this week as they are joined by Erin, Ryan, and the Ghost of Sean as they discuss where they would go first if they had the park to themselves, their favorite Disney influencers, the Disney craft-y projects that they are the most proud of, and the Disney cartoons they would like to see get a reboot.     Join Erik and Tage this week as they are joined by Rob and Ryan as they discuss if they would work at a Disney park in retirement, which Disney characters they would have meals with, the Disney Cruise Line “Day at Sea” that they would make, and where they would like to see more shade in the parks. In retirement would you pack up your bags and move to either Anaheim or Orlando and get a job working for the mouse? We always talk about how fun it would be to do it but would it really be fun? Would you really do it? Question 2: Which Disney-ish character would you most like to spend time with at each of the following meals? A long sit-down (like Chef’s Table at Napa Rose), a quick service (like Docking Bay 7), and a snack (churro cart)? Question 3: DCL offers special sailings with special “Days at Sea”. Currently they offer Marvel and Pixar but have done Star Wars in the past. Typically these days feature special shows, unique characters, special food menus, etc. Question 4: Do you think the parks need more shade? How would you suggest they accomplish adding more if yes? Bonus Question: Inspired by new Muppets content😍 If you could have a new muppet movie where they retold a Disney story or turned a ride into a Muppet movie, what would it be?
