Interview with The Newfound Interest In Connecticut

We sat down with the once Toronto-based band Newfound Interest in Connecticut to discuss the internet, outgrowing emo, nostalgia, and the future. Though the group stopped making music together in 2005, their album “Tell Me About the Long Dark Path Home” gained a cult following from its appearances on various online music forums decades later. They’ve recently become a must-know must-listen band for fans of the obscure, and have since begun releasing vinyl presses of their lone album in the UK, Europe, and North America—which all sold out immediately, on two separate occasions.
