    Ep. 51 - Love or Respect?

    Episode 51 is here and after a return to start, bench, cut we may have overdid it a bit (Mike specifically), so we start off with some retractions and acknowledgement to the complexity of the human experience. Then we get into it  - from genocidal tweets from the president and Lebron vs Memphis, to books we're currently reading and quick review of the film BLKNWS.     Ep. 46 - Lima beans and macaroni and cheese

    Episode 46 spans a wide range of conversations touching politics, culture, and everyday life. Mike and Erica talk through thoughts on the upcoming 2026 elections and what it means to stay aware and engaged moving forward. A brief discussion of Mali’s decision to remove the teaching of French history for 9th graders and what that signals about decolonization and control over historical narratives.They also reflect on life lessons from gardening and different perspectives on caring for yourself in the winter and compartmentalization. Then we had to get into the Diddy documentary, and talk about power and getting to the root causes of harm to prevent it from happening.
