The Backrooms

The Backrooms Review: Welcome to Out from the Horrorbox! With your no clip host Dom Higuera! In this episode, we take a look at the 2026 science fiction psychological horror film directed by Kane Parsons (in his feature-length directorial debut), The Backrooms! Clark, a recently divorced furniture store owner, accidentally discovers a portal in his store's basement that leads to an infinite, liminal dimension of yellow hallways and unsettling emptiness. After narrowly escaping an unseen creature, he recruits his assistant manager and her boyfriend to document the space on camera as proof of his discovery. The trio quickly becomes separated when the same entity attacks, killing one and chasing the others deeper into the labyrinth. Clark's therapist Mary goes to investigate the store, and enters the other space in a desperate rescue attempt. After traversing into the labyrinth, Mary is taken into custody by the mysterious Async Research Institute, which has been secretly monitoring the space for years. Leprechaun 3 Review: Welcome to Out from the Horrorbox! With your superstitious host Dom Higuera! Happy St. Patrick's Day! In this episode, we dive back into Irish folklore with the 1995 American horror comedy film written by David DuBos and directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith, Leprechaun 3! It is a normal night in Las Vegas, all the lights are flashing brightly, until a man walks into a pawn shop with a statue of a hideous looking Leprechaun with a medallion around it's neck. The careless pawn shop owner takes off the medallion setting the Leprechaun free! Driving into town is a young man named Scott who is off to L.A. for school. Along the way he meets Tammy, a magicians assistant. Scott tries gambling but loses everything, so he goes to the pawn shop. He finds the dead owner and one of Leprechaun's gold coins that grants a wish to its finder. Scott wishes for a winning streak, but what he does not know is that the casino is run by a crooked man who hates to lose. Before long, the Leprechaun shows up to claim his coin! In the process of being bitten by the Fae, some of Leprechaun's green blood spills into Scott's wound, slowly transforming Scott into a Leprechaun! The Leprechaun kills and mauls everyone in his path for his measly gold coin and Scott must choose whether to destroy the pot of gold as well as the Leprechaun, or keep it and remain a one himself!
