My name is Mr. Mitts and I am embarking on teaching video production and all the things that can go with it for the first time after 16 years of teaching English and Speech and Debate. This channel is a place for me to document that journey, show my progress, and leave resources for others to work from, because that is what teaching is. I hope you enjoy it.

Episodes

  1. 03/31/2022

Episode 1 - Rufio, Rufio, Rufioooooooooo....

Join me and my special guest Alex Mitts as we discuss characters who we think add more to the story than one might consider on first watch. I muse over the film Serendipity while Alex discusses both the Peter Pan sequel Hook and Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog.

  2. Season 1, Episode 1 Trailer

    Bell Ringers

This is a weekly podcast that reflects the topics my students are going to write about in their bell ringers, a short creative writing assignment, to show how an idea as simple as a journal entry can become a piece of art in the world. There will be my views, interviews, and anything else I can think of and make. I hope you enjoy it.
