Ep. 22: The Marriagepreneurs Book Series: “Closing One Chapter, Preparing for the Next”

“Closing One Chapter, Preparing for the Next”  Season Two was all about laying the foundation of what it means to be a Marriagepreneur — not just in theory, but in real life. Not from textbooks. Not from degrees. Not from formal education. But from my lived experience. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:  I am not here because I have a wall full of certificates. I am here because I have a life full of lessons. Everything I’ve shared this season — the stories, the strategies, the insights, the challenges — came from real moments, real mistakes, real breakthroughs, and real growth. It was about being honest. Being transparent. Being vulnerable. Being real. Because I believe that real stories build real community. I created this podcast because I knew there were women, couples, and entrepreneurs out there who felt like me. People who were building love and legacy at the same time. People who were navigating marriage and business and purpose and identity all at once. People who needed a space where they could breathe, relate, and grow. I poured into this podcast hoping that the right people would hear it and say,  “Finally… someone gets it.”  “Finally… someone is speaking my language.”  “Finally… I’m not alone.” If you’ve been listening, sharing, taking notes, sending messages, or simply nodding along in your car — you are my tribe.  And I’m grateful for you. The Marriagepreneurs, The Playbook for Wives, The Discovery Pack — these are not just products. They are my intellectual property. They are my heart on paper. They are the blueprint of my lived experience. And yes…  For all my wives listening…  For all the husbands who want to understand their role…  For all the couples who want to build well… The book for husbands is in the works.  But like everything I do, I will submit it prayerfully to the Lord.  I don’t rush what God is writing.  I don’t force what God is forming. When it’s time, it will be time. Now, as we close out this season, I’m stepping into a summer break — a time to travel, to celebrate my birthday, to rest, to reset, and to refill. But hear me clearly:  I am coming back. And when I return, I’m bringing: More exciting information, more rewarding conversations, more professional learning, more tools to help you build well, and More stories, more strategies, more truth Season Three is going to be powerful.  We’re going deeper. We’re going wider. We’re building stronger. Because this movement — this Marriagepreneur movement — is just getting started.  Before I go, I want to leave you with a few invitations — because I’m not disappearing, I’m just resting.  If you want to be a guest on the podcast — call me or email me.  Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your experience matters.  If you have a question as a spouse or an entrepreneur — call me or email me.  I want to hear from you. I want to support you. I want to walk with you.  If you and your partner are ready to build well — sign up for a Hot Seat Session or a VIP Day.  This is where the real work happens. This is where clarity comes. This is where breakthroughs happen. This is where couples shift from surviving to thriving. I’m here for you. I’m rooting for you. I’m building with you.

Ep. 21: The Marriagepreneurs Book Series: Becoming, Building, Balancing & Blooming: A Wife’s Journey in an Entrepreneurial Marriage

Becoming, Building, Balancing & Blooming: "A Wife’s Journey in an Entrepreneurial Marriage" One of the core themes of the Playbook is Becoming — specifically, becoming a Wife in Purpose. A Wife in Purpose is not defined by titles, tasks, or timelines.  She is defined by alignment. She understands that her identity is rooted in God, not in productivity.  She knows that her marriage is part of her assignment, not a distraction from it.  She recognizes that her gifts, her voice, her creativity, and her calling matter — inside and outside the home. In the chapter Wife in Purpose, I talk about how purpose is not something you chase; it’s something you embody. It’s the way you show up. It’s the way you love. It’s the way you serve. It’s the way you build. Becoming is about evolving — spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and relationally.  It’s about becoming the woman God designed you to be, not the woman society pressures you to be. And in entrepreneurial marriages, becoming is essential.  Because when you grow, everything connected to you grows. Entrepreneurial marriages come with a unique rhythm.  There are seasons of hustle, seasons of stretching, seasons of uncertainty, and seasons of overflow.  But the key is learning how to build without burning out. Grace is not laziness. Grace is alignment. Grace is wisdom. Grace is knowing when to push and when to pause. In the Playbook, I share how grace became my superpower — how it allowed me to build businesses, build a marriage, and build a life without losing myself. Grace Over Grind is the reminder that you are not building alone.  God is in the blueprint.  God is in the timing.  God is in the details. Balance is not about doing everything equally. Balance is about doing what matters most in the moment. In the Playbook, I talk about how balance is a mindset before it’s a schedule. Because if your mind is overwhelmed, your life will be too. Balance is not about perfection — it’s about intentionality.  It’s about knowing what deserves your “yes” and what requires your “not right now.” In the chapter Setting Yourself Up to Flourish & Flow, I talk about how blooming requires: 1. Environment You cannot bloom in soil that suffocates you.  Your environment — your habits, your relationships, your routines — must support your growth. 2. Boundaries Blooming requires protection.  You cannot flourish if everything and everyone has access to your energy. 3. Self-awareness You must know what nourishes you and what drains you.  You must know your strengths, your needs, your triggers, and your limits. 4. Flow Flow is when your life, your marriage, and your business move in harmony.  Not perfectly — but peacefully. Flow happens when you stop forcing and start aligning.  Flow happens when you trust God’s timing.  Flow happens when you honor your season. Blooming is not about being busy — it’s about being fruitful.

Ep. 20: The Marriagepreneurs Book Series: “Becoming the Woman Who Attracts What She’s Assigned To

Becoming the Woman Who Attracts What She’s Assigned To We’re diving into themes straight from my book, The Marriagepreneurs, and the companion Discovery Pack — including the Surrender Shift, the challenges of dating today, knowing God and knowing yourself, being in your assignment, and choosing faith over filters. In the book, I talk about the moment everything changed for me. Not when I tried harder. Not when I dated smarter. Not when I made a list of what I wanted in a man.  But when I surrendered. Surrender is not giving up — it’s giving God permission to lead. The Surrender Shift is where you stop auditioning for love and start aligning with purpose.  It’s where you stop chasing potential and start choosing peace.  It’s where you stop trying to be chosen and start becoming the woman who chooses well. In the Discovery Pack, I walk you through exercises that help you release old patterns, old expectations, and old wounds — so you can receive what God has been trying to send you. Surrender is not passive.  Surrender is powerful.  Surrender is preparation.  Dating is not a reflection of your value — it’s a reflection of the culture. And the culture is confused. This is why the Discovery Pack is so important. It helps you identify your patterns, your triggers, your blind spots, and your boundaries — so you don’t lose yourself while looking for love. Dating is not about finding someone.  It’s about becoming someone — someone aligned, healed, discerning, and confident in who she is. Knowing God gives you clarity. Knowing yourself gives you confidence. You are not waiting for a man. You are becoming the woman who is ready for the man God has already prepared. Your partner is connected to your assignment. When you are in your assignment — serving, building, growing, healing, becoming —you position yourself to meet someone who is also in theirs. Purpose attracts purpose.  Discipline attracts discipline.  Vision attracts vision. When I met my husband, it wasn’t because I was looking.  It was because I was becoming. I was in my assignment. I was aligned. I was surrendered. And God said, “Now you’re ready.” Filters are the things we use to judge potential partners. Filters will have you overlooking a good man.  Faith will have you recognizing a God man. Filters are based on preference.  Faith is based on destiny. In the Discovery Pack, I challenge you to examine your filters — because some of them are blocking your blessing.

Ep19: From The Make Money Marriage Challenge - Planning, Systems, and Communication

Today we’re diving into three pillars that will change the way you and your spouse move as a team: Planning, Putting Systems in Place, and Communication. These are the parts of the Make Money Marriage Challenge that shift you from dreaming to doing. Settle in, grab your spouse if they’re nearby, and let’s build something powerful. Let’s start with planning — because listen, love is beautiful, but love without a plan will have you working hard and going nowhere. Planning is where your vision becomes strategy. It’s where your ideas become action. It’s where your marriage becomes intentional instead of reactive. Here’s the truth:  Most couples don’t fail because they don’t love each other. They fail because they don’t plan together. Planning does three things for your marriage: 1. It creates unity. When you plan together, you think together. You dream together. You prioritize together. You stop pulling in opposite directions and start rowing in sync. 2. It reduces stress. A plan gives you clarity.  It tells you what matters now and what can wait.  It eliminates the “What are we doing?” conversations that lead to frustration. 3. It accelerates progress. A plan turns your goals into steps.  And steps turn into momentum.  And momentum turns into results. How to plan as a Marriagepreneur couple: Set monthly goals for money, marriage, and business.Break each goal into weekly action steps.Assign responsibilities.Review your progress every week.Planning is not about perfection — it’s about direction.  It’s about saying, “This is where we’re going, and we’re going there together.” Now let’s talk about systems.  Love is the heart of your marriage, but systems are the backbone. Systems keep your home running. Systems keep your business flowing.  Systems keep your money growing. Systems keep your marriage peaceful. A system is simply a repeatable process that makes your life easier. Why systems matter: 1. Systems save time. You stop reinventing the wheel every week. 2. Systems reduce conflict. When everyone knows the process, there’s no confusion.  3. Systems create consistency. Consistency builds trust — in marriage and in business. 4. Systems protect your peace. You don’t have to rely on memory, mood, or motivation.  You rely on structure. Systems every Marriagepreneur couple needs: • A Weekly Marriage Meeting System - A set time to talk about money, schedules, goals, and anything that needs attention. • A Money Management System - Budgeting, saving, investing, and reviewing your financial health together. • A Home Management System - Clear responsibilities for chores, errands, and household tasks. • A Business Workflow System - How you handle clients, content, operations, or projects. • A Communication System - How you check in, how you resolve conflict, how you stay connected. Start small: Choose two systems to implement this week. Don’t overwhelm yourselves — build slowly, consistently, and intentionally. Now let’s talk about the heartbeat of everything: communication. Communication is the difference between a marriage that survives and a marriage that thrives.  It’s the difference between partnership and frustration.  It’s the difference between building together and drifting apart. Here’s the truth:  You can have the best plan and the best systems — but if you don’t communicate, none of it works. Why communication matters: 1. Communication creates safety. Your spouse needs to know they can talk to you without judgment. 2. Communication builds intimacy. Talking is how you stay connected emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. 3. Communication prevents resentment. Unspoken expectations become silent frustrations. 4. Communication strengthens teamwork. You can’t build together if you’re not talking together. Communication tools for Marriagepreneur couples: • Pillow Talk Conversations  -  End-of-day check-ins where you talk about feelings, wins, challenges, and dreams. • Weekly Business & Money Check-ins -  Short, structured conversations that keep you aligned. • Trigger Awareness - Knowing what sets you off and communicating it with love. • The Pause & Pray Method - Before reacting — pause, breathe, pray, and respond with intention. • The “I Feel, I Need” Framework - Instead of blaming, express your feelings and needs clearly. Communication is not about talking more — it’s about talking better. It’s about listening with love and speaking with clarity.
