    Jordan tells her story of growing up in a house with both her parents addicted to alcohol. How she had to raise herself through high school and how she dealt with bullying at the same time. She also talks about getting bullied after High School and her mental health through it all and how she's doing today!  Jordan is 27 years of age, from Mississauga, the owner of lifeboat counselling- addictions therapist graduate of York University.     Voices Season 1 Episode 2 - Erika

    "My name is Ericka, i live in northern Nevada. I was hooked on benzos and alcohol for 10 years and I have 11 1/2 months clean!" I had the pleasure of speaking Erika, whom I met over Instagram within the past year. It was nice to hear someones story from a different country. I'm so proud of her and the effort she's made to better her life in the past almost year now. Keep up the amazing work Erika, can't wait to check in with you in the future and see how you are doing!  In this episode we speak about Erikas friend who unfortunately lost their life, to substance use, around the time of the filming of this episode. Another life gone too soon, cut too short. This is the reality of the opiate epidemic going on in Canada and the USA right now.  If you or anyone you know is struggling with mental health or substance use, know you are not alone.
