    Milana Sribniak is Historian / Content Manager at Ukrainian Lessons . She speaks to Putins campaign of genocide against her Ukrainian people. Her work preserving her native language and culture was recently featured in the LATimes .( photo is of Mariupol after Russian shelling devastated the coastal city …leaving thousands trapped in a hellish humanitarian emergency ..Russian forces have sadistically blocked aid and those remaining alive are reported to be often with no food, water , heat . And many still remain under the rubble of the attacked theatre , which was a makeshift shelter for elderly , children and other innocent citizens .     On March 2, just 6 days after Putin sent Russian troops to invade Ukraine .. I spoke with activists from a Food Not Bombs group in Poland . They normally serve weekly free meals to those in need where they live… Miles from the Ukraine Poland border. That as they saw the crisis unfold they packed up their gear and added the refugees flooding into Poland to their list of those to serve.
