    The Struggle Session: Mao's Abusive Tactic that Cancel Culture Stole

    It has a name. It has a 70-year track record. And it's running your workplace right now. You've felt it. The tightening in your chest before you speak up in a meeting.     Ex-CBC Insider EXPOSES: "We Became State Media Like North Korea"

    Rodney Palmer isn't some random critic of the media — he is the media. For over 20 years he worked as a general assignment reporter at the Globe and Mail, a daily reporter at the Vancouver Sun, an investigative reporter and producer at CBC Radio and Television, and CTV's Foreign Bureau Chief covering India, Israel, and China. This is someone trained inside the system, at the highest levels of Canadian journalism, which is exactly why his testimony at the Allison Inquiry matters so much. He argues that CBC, the very institution that trained him, shifted during the pandemic from a public broadcaster working bottom-up to a state broadcaster delivering messages top-down and he draws a direct comparison to state media he witnessed firsthand reporting from China, Syria, and North Korea.
