    The Dis-Appointment of Gary Gensler

    To say that Gary Gensler has been a disappointment is an understatement. Cathy Wood, Silvio Micali, and many of us in the Bitcoin and Blockchain ecosystem had high hopes because he understands the technology and its potential. With a Spot Bitcoin ETF still unrealized and the SEC suing anyone involved in Crypto, his “progress” is almost laughable. The collapse of FTX, Celcuis, Block-Fi, and Terra Luna all happened under his watch while his attention was on Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and low-hanging fruit. Part of me thinks it’s part of the plan to fleece and ruin retail investors to allow Long-standing Institutions to gain a foothold during a grey area of regulation through enforcement. Now, some lawmakers like Congressman Warren Davidson are calling for his removal and asking him directly about XRP and Ethereum. GOP Majority Whip Tom Emmer is also taking him to the woodshed. Where does this leave Goldman Gary, and why is he dragging his feet on absolute clarity for Digital Assets?     Trading On Twitter

    Twitter and a Brokerage named eToro have announced a partnership to bring Real-Time CashTags to Twitter and allow registered users to Buy and Sell assets using the app. The barrier to entry is one of the biggest things stopping people from self-investing.     Binance Crackdown!

    A few days after the S.E.C. came after Coinbase, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission or CFTC filed a 74 Page lawsuit against Binance, CEO CZ, another executive, and other Binance companies in what they are calling "a Willfull Evasion of U.S. Law."  The potential "WIN" for the sector in this situation is that the CFTC clearly stated in their lawsuit that Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and at least 2 Fiat-Backed Stablecoins, Tether and BinanceUSD are all commodities, which goes against the S.E.C.'s stance on Crypto. Meanwhile, last week NASDAQ reiterated its intent to get into Digital Assets and be a trusted custodian for Investors. The ground is shifting underneath our feet. Here's what you need to know!     Coinbase vs. The S.E.C.

    On March 22, 2023, Coinbase was served a Wells Notice from the Securities Exchange Commission. The stock dropped 20% on the news. They are the latest target of Operation Chokepoint 2.0 even after trying to work with regulators over the past few years. Will this push founders overseas or slow innovation in The United States?
