    Letter 03: Three Lessons I Learned Too Late

    Some of life’s greatest lessons come from looking back. In this letter, I share three decisions from my own life that taught me more than I ever expected. One was made because of fear. One because I believed someone else’s opinion instead of seeking God’s direction. And one because I made a permanent decision based on temporary circumstances. My hope is that these lessons encourage you to slow down, seek God’s wisdom, ask good questions, and never let fear, someone else’s voice, or a lack of resources make your biggest life decisions. I’m cheering for you.

    Letter Two: Forgiveness Is Freedom

    Forgiveness isn’t saying what happened was okay. It’s choosing freedom over bitterness. In this letter, I share one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned: unforgiveness rarely hurts the other person as much as it hurts us. It shapes the way we see people, the way we trust, and even the way we experience joy. Together, we’ll talk about what forgiveness really is, what it isn’t, and why choosing to forgive isn’t just a gift to someone else, it’s one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

    Letter One: Your Relationship with Jesus Is Yours

    Your relationship with Jesus is one of the greatest gifts you’ll ever have and it’s a relationship only you can build. In this first letter, I share why your faith can’t simply be borrowed from your parents, your church, or the people around you. It has to become your own. We’ll talk about what it looks like to build a personal relationship with Jesus through His Word, prayer, community, and learning to recognize His faithfulness in your everyday life. I also share why keeping a journal of answered prayers and moments where God shows up has become one of the greatest faith builders in my own life. My prayer is that this letter encourages you to know God personally, trust Him deeply, and begin collecting your own stories of His goodness and faithfulness.

    Roots Before Fruit: Discovering Your Identity

    Who am I? It’s a question we all ask. In this episode, Stephanie and her 14-year-old daughter, Eliza, talk about why discovering who you are begins with discovering who God is. Through the picture of a seed growing deep roots before producing fruit, they explore how our identity is found in our Creator not in comparison, culture, or accomplishments. When you know who He is, you’ll discover whose you are… and then you’ll know who you’re becoming and then ultimately what he asked for you to do!

    You Get What You Look For: Lessons from New York

    In this episode, we unpack our recent family trip to New York City and the powerful lessons that came with it. Before we left, we were met with fear-based warnings and “what ifs”… but what we found when we arrived was something completely different. From walking through Manhattan to taking in the lights of Times Square, we talk about how fear tries to steal joy before it even begins and how to overcome it with faith, discernment, and trusted counsel. We share how important it is to step through fear, not sit in it, and how to live by wisdom not worry. You’ll hear why “you get what you look for” has become a new family motto, and how this trip reminded us to assume the best in people, not the worst.
