    DrSis talks with Yolanda M. Lenzy, MD, a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss. Dr. Lenzy is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic skin and hair care for adults and children. Her research and clinical practice focuses on hair and scalp disorders and skin disease in skin of color. Her background as a hair stylist fueled her passion to focus her career on optimizing care for the hair and scalp from a medical perspective. She is the Clinical Director and Owner of Lenzy Dermatology, PC in Chicopee, Massachusetts. DrSis chats with Dr. Lenzy about some of the challenges she faced in her journey to become a dermatologist, and they discuss Dr. Lenzy's book, Getting to the Root.     DrSis chats with Dr. Afiya Mbilishaka, a therapist, professor, research scientist, and hairstylist. She is the owner of Ma'at Psychological Services, a private practice in Washington, DC focused on promoting balance and restoring order to the lives of her clients. She is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of the District of Columbia that focuses on understanding and using traditional African cultural rituals for contemporary holistic mental health practices. She is a native New Yorker and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Howard University. Dr. Afiya and DrSis talk about her journey to becoming a psychohairapist, the valuable role haircare professionals can play in their clients' mental health, and her work in Cuba.
