In todays meeting we are speaking with co-founder of teachAAPI Renee Yang, her son Dominic, and board member Calvin Cheng about the importance of the K-12 AAPI History Initiative, otherwise known as SB1363.  SB 1363 provides a suggested framework for classroom instruction on the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Social Science courses and lesson plans will be designed according to the maturity level of students.
