    Interview with Pastor Kari

We talk about how everything was organized, how the sit in went down, how the Capitol police reacted, and what it was like to be detained as well as why it was important that this sit in happened.     Mae's Dissertation, Part 1

    Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! Today, we are going to start our look into Mae's doctoral dissertation called An Accessible Image: Reconstructing the Imago Dei for a More Inclusive Anthropology. I was originally planning on taking 2 episodes to look at the dissertation, but I realized it may take 3 episodes.  So be prepared for that, I'll know by the end of next episode. The dissertation takes a bit to get through because it has a lot of philosophical and theological concepts that are not always the easiest to explain, no matter how well Mae writes.     Hosanna Tabor v. EEOC

    Welcome to season 5 of Queer PoliFaith! In today's episode, we are doing a few things. First, I talk about the first part of the season including the schedule, the theme, and other odds and ends. Then, I get to the meat of the episode. Today, we are going to talk about the Supreme Court case Hosanna Tabor v. EEOC. It's a case about churches, disability, and who is a minister. It is a difficult case because there are aspects that are understandable and aspects that are not. I delve into each area. In two weeks, we will have part one of two parts about Mae's doctoral dissertation. I talk about it a little more in the episode.
