In Session Ibiza is Sebastiaan Hooft’s monthly deep tech show, recorded on Ibiza, the island he has called home since 2024. Each episode is built from the music he is finding and playing on the island right now: deep, warm and driving, selected to hold a room rather than to chase a chart. Much of it gets tested first on the rooftop at Tomorrowland Ibiza, where Sebastiaan is a resident DJ. In Session Ibiza is the deeper side of his sound. The Midnight Project, his weekly show, is the techno side. Same selector, two sides of one sound.

    In Session Ibiza November 2026

    November is when the island goes quiet. The last closings are behind us, the terraces are stacking their chairs, and the people still out at night are the ones who live here. This month’s In Session Ibiza is recorded in that calm: thirteen new selections, and two classics at the end as a bonus. Robag Wruhme opens with “Pentho,” the closing cut of his Fumaxohn EP on Cocoon Recordings. Olympe’s “Riot” on Phantasia and Elisa Nau’s “Shake That Thing” on Klaphouse Records follow, before Weska, SOLANCE and Sarah De Warren deliver the first of two Truesoul cuts with “Overdrive.” Touch The Sound’s “Hustler” on Hollystone Records and Fab From Toulouse’s “Pancake” on Natura Viva Black carry the first half, and Olivier Giacomotto’s “Hypnotique” brings Truesoul back at the midpoint. Kryder’s “Set Me Free” on Heldeep Records is the first proper lift of the hour. JONATAS C and Melanie Ribbe’s “Utopia” on Variety Music, Flex (UK)’s “Let’s Get This” on Subsoil Records and KAWSAN’s “Lose Control” on Interplay Records keep it moving, and Daveartt and Josh Diaz’s “Music” leads into the last of the new selections: “GALATEA” by Anna Tur and A.D.H.S on Arcane Music. Anna is from this island, so it felt right to close the new music with her. Then the bonus. Two classics from 2007 and 2008 that I wanted to hear again at the end of a season. Rune’s “Yesteryear,” released on Arti Farti long before he became Kölsch, and Robert Babicz’s “Dark Flower” in the Joris Voorn Magnolia Mix, which has lost nothing in eighteen years.     In Session Ibiza October 2026

    October brings the closing stretch of Ibiza’s season, but there’s still plenty of music to share. This month’s In Session Ibiza brings together 13 tracks, with selections from Frankey & Sandrino, Eelke Kleijn, Robag Wruhme, Mochakk, and Adam Ten.SCRIPT x Frankys open with “Inside The Brain,” followed by LOVRA’s “Get Close.” Two Kompakt releases frame Eelke Kleijn’s “The Method,” before Marco Carola’s Bass Mix of “Da Fonk” marks the midpoint. The second half features Deep Fiktion, Michael Grandel and Mesto, with ME.EE and Dimitri Mediator’s Extended Night Mix of “Le Voie Le Soleil” is closing the October selection. Thanks for listening.     A full room, Rocco's farewell party, and a set that was supposed to be one hour and ended up running thirty minutes after closing. The dancefloor kept asking for more, and this recording is the full ride. Shout-out to the engineers of Paradiso! Rocco, thank you for asking me to play your farewell. It was an honor to soundtrack your goodbye, and I hope this set takes you right back to that night wherever you go next. Paradiso, thank you for having me.     In Session Ibiza September 2026

    September on the island is the month a lot of us wait for. The crowds thin out, the nights stay warm, and the people still here are the ones who came for the music. This hour leans into that. We open with brand new Drumcode. Volkoder and Korolova released "Waiting For You" at the end of August, their first collaboration and a debut on the label for both of them, built around a recurring vocal hook and a synth riff at 128. It carries melody and drive at the same time, which makes it a good door into the show. Rafael Cerato's "Cash" on Arcane Music follows, then Skytech's remix of ANOTR and 54 Ultra's "Talk to you" gets a short, sharp run before Andre Palms and Lahox take over with "Vibrations" on dFunk. Oliver Heldens and Will Clarke's "Lost In Music" on Spinnin' Deep is the first proper lift, and then it gets interesting: Bart Skils and Weska reworking Soul Central's "Strings Of Life / Un Amore Supremo" for Drumcode. Derrick May's original is one of the most remixed records in dance music, and most attempts add nothing. This one earns its place. The middle of the show belongs to Late London. Three tracks, all from the same "On The Case" EP that landed on Mindshake in August, spread across the set rather than stacked: "Double The Time," the J. Park collaboration "On The Case," and "TIME2WORK." Mindshake has had a strong summer, and this release is a big part of why. Around them, Morab, Altera, and Paul Harris with "Take A Trip" on AETERNA. Robag Wruhme's "Olahni" on Cocoon takes the temperature of the room down without losing anybody. Coco Bevan's "Move Like That" on Apples & Oranges and Sammy Dean's "Play The Game" on Wh0 Worx bring it back up. The last stretch opens out. Emanuel Satie and Bruno Roth's "Touch" runs long and does real work, then The Other Side's "Sinner" holds the deepest passage of the show. I close on my own, "Tree Pose." See you next month.     Ibiza family, August is here, and the island is running at full temperature. This one is for you. I made this episode for exactly this moment of the season: one hour of the Seb_h sound, warm and groovy tech house for open air, golden light, and dancefloors that don't want the night to end. We open deep with Emanuele Satie & Bruno Roth, let Deomid and Teenage Mutants tighten things up, then it's full send, Fatboy Slim & Riva Starr reworked, Layton Giordani & KASIA doing Drumcode damage, and a relentless middle from Fab Massimo, Robs D and Ammo Avenue.     In Session Ibiza June 2026

    June is when the island flips a switch. Everything opens at once. The terraces, the rooftops, the clubs. The friends arrive, the schedule gets busy, and the season is suddenly real. We had our own nights at Tomorrowland, and on the other nights we were out watching other DJs and hearing what's landing in the rooms this year. This show carries that mood. Recorded between sessions, between trips across the island. Hackatone with Jaki Nelson opens on Models. Kasablanca and Township Rebellion's "It's Chemical" on MAHOOL, "Broken Hill" on AETERNA, "Reza & JustGio" on Wh0 Plays. The middle stretch leans deeper and more melodic: KREAM with Korolova, Charles D on Truesoul, Dominique Jardin on Bon Voyage!, Vintage Culture with Volkoder. Toolroom takes three slots in a row. Anthony Attalla, Dario Nunez with Siege and I Jah, and Max Mash. Mark Broom lands on Rekids, Neither Nor on Union Three, and B Jones closes the show on Arryba Music.
