The Forza World Podcast is an unfiltered, authentic, and hilarious bi-weekly experience, where we discuss what's new in the world of cars, motorsport, Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon. Absolutely nothing is off-limits; hosts Aren Glover, Andrew Lennon, and Jason McArthur give their honest, uncensored takes, good and bad. We have some arguments, some thought-provoking discussions, and some ridiculous takes too. There are a variety of rotating segments, including the weekly "F*** That Car", where we choose a car to hate on and explain why it stinks, or "Jason's Complaint Corner", where he chooses a particularly minor topic to complain about in cars, life, food, or more.     Forza Horizon 6 Revealed (It Was Originally In Germany) + Optimism & Concern

    (Originally Recorded Oct 5)  Before you say anything, yes, we are tripling down that Forza Horizon 6 was originally based in Germany, or at least not in Japan. Hear us out, though. On this episode, we spill the dirt on how we've been able to predict locations in the past, and also provide some very solid insight on what happened before the shift to Japan. As a teaser, we believe it would have happened around the time Mike Brown was fired (we have a very mean-spirited episode about that. Because, again, you don't sit on the goldmine that is a new Horizon game for this long unless it's a mistake. Regardless, we engage in some truly meaningful conversations and break down our thoughts, and being serious, how important a game this is for the entire series. It is effectively make-or-break, and the devs are clearly pulling out all the stops in what could be their last effort, if this does not go smoothly. Our overall sentiment is that, if this is not the best-selling racing game in Xbox's history (with a long-term player base that follows), it will absolutely be the end. Certainly, the sudden shift to Japan would signal it will do anything to appease players right now... because there is no other choice. Our segments Complaint Corner and F*** That Car go as well as expected, and we also extend on the previous episodes post mortem regarding the super-dead Forza Motorsport. We share some additional concerns about what failures Horizon 6 may contain from Motorsport. Aren gives us a reminder about Forza's constant reusing of cars with the exact same polygon counts because they don't rescan cars from game to game.     Forza Horizon 6 Will Make-or-Break The Series - Analysis, Opinions, and Ramblings

    (Originally recorded Jan 22) Finally, some more Forza news! Forza Horizon 6 was revealed a few months ago, and details continue to trickle in on what we can expect. We now have the majority of the important details, including a (very mid) trailer that was released,  showcasing cars and scenery in the most realistic version yet. It shouldn't be a secret to anyone though: this entire series is in big-time trouble right now. With the death of Forza Motorsport, and back-to-back flops with Horizon 4 and 5, this game absolutely needs to make an impact, or it will likely spell the end for the series. We take a thoughtful and critical dive into the current situation, and if we think the game has what it takes to be successful. Most critically, this game launches May 15, a bit ahead of GTA 6.     Forza Motorsport Is Dead - A Funeral, Autopsy and Initial Reactions

    (Re-posting - Originally recorded July 8 2025) Well folks, Forza Motorsport is dead. On this episode, we’re holding the funeral, giving our initial reactions to the news around Turn 10's brutal 120+ person layoff, and what is the final nail in the coffin for the Motorsport side of the franchise. We talk about how we got here, and how so many fans saw this coming. We told you this would happen, by the way. This is part funeral, part autopsy. We break down the damage, what the loss of Motorsport means for longtime fans, but we also reminisce about the good old days, and how you should best remember this series at its peak, and in the early days, too. As you can expect from this show, we also get more than a few jabs in. We are sad to see the end be so unceremonious, but we figure we should at least give it some sort of a burial.     Back From a Hiatus: Forza Coming to PlayStation, Solar Crown Review, FH6 in Germany!

    The fellas are back, and Forza still stinks! We return from an unplanned hiatus with some important topics to analyze. Here’s a list of the main topics of discussion! Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Review Aren gives his initial feelings on a Forza alternative, TDU Solar Crown. This is a game we have discussed in the past, and if you are unfamilliar, it is worth listening to Aren contrast the game with Forza Horizon. Amazon Hires Former Forza Devs For New Competitor Game Here we go! Our prayers are answered in the form of Amazon hiring Forza executives and devs from the golden years to create a new Forza competitor available on all platforms, including PS5. Interestingly, it is story-based, and the head scriptwriter is the creator of the TV show ‘Skins’ (!). Jason seems to think this game could kill Forza as we know it. A great listen. Forza Coming to PlayStation 5 Yup! You read that correctly. There have been credible reports that state Microsoft is exploring the port of Forza Horizon 5 to Sony's PlayStation 5. With a number of Microsoft exclusives recently ported to PS5, there is a growing belief Forza is next, and Halo may not be far behind either. Forza Horizon 6 Potentially In Germany As seen on our Instagram, we discuss the potential for FH6 to be based in Germany. This is way down the road, but is something we are confident enough to share, as we believe at the very least this option has been heavily explored by Turn 10 Studios. This Game Still Stinks Part of the unplanned hiatus had to do with the lacklustre updates for Forza Horizon 5 and the monstrous flop that is the Forza Motorsport reboot. Simply put, there hasn't been much to talk about, and both games are not very good. However, over the past few weeks, there has been a welcome amount of news (thank god) and we think this momentum will build. Also, Aren is working at a Porsche dealership again - nature is healing!     Forza Motorsport Is Absolute Booty Cheeks & Fujimi Kaido Is Returning

    SPECIAL EDITION EPISODE: The show you've all been waiting for - our most negative and critical yet! In classic Forza World style, we tell you the straight dope: the newest Forza Motorsport game is a hot piece of trash that was rushed along with no regard for the fans. We dive into details, explaining some of the hot topics in the community and major pain points, along with a few other issues that we haven't seen anyone mention (yet). We talk about the booty cheeks car upgrade system, the nauseating vinyl editor, the recycled  poo-poo car modelling that is older than the Obama administration, the braindead AI drivers, and even more. There are a very small number of positive takeaways. The first is the physics; they are nothing short of exceptional, and it is honestly a very real (and only) reason to give this game a try. The second is that we have some news we would like to share about Fujimi Kaido. We jump into it later in the show, it's something we have been excited to share with you all, and hopefully it's a breath of fresh air for a lot of frustrated Forza Fans.     Forza Motorsport Preview, Premium Add-Ons Review, and More

    In just one week, the new Forza Motorsport game will be launched, and we break down what we're hearing and seeing so far about the game. We dive into some concerns we have with the rollout and promotion, specifically issues with the Premium Edition and the Add-On version. Jason raises some very valid points on behalf of all disc owners who want premium, and Aren discusses the pointlessness of the early access incentive. Among many other concerns with the point of pre-ordering the game, we examine what you get with the Premium Edition: VIP, the car packs, bonus credits, and more all go under the microscope, so if you are looking to upgrade, listen to this first. Aside from Motorsport talk, we chat about the latest Forza Horizon 5 update, the release of the wonderful Crew Motorfest, and we even have a bonus Puma merch review, featuring some great stuff from Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW, along with even better reactions to close out the show. Complaint Corner is yet another valid yet spirited rant, and F*** That Car returns this week, only this time, it's for a specific engine (note that Jason is stupid and meant rubber Oil Pump Drive Belt, not rubber timing chain).     Is Fujimi Kaido Returning? Forza Horizon Italian Cars + More

    In our most organized, funniest, and purely Forza-focused episode yet, we tackle one of the biggest question marks about the upcoming Forza Motorsport game: will Fujimi Kaido be there? We've got an answer by breaking it down methodically and based on some interesting things we've come across.  Aren was feeling especially negative about a few things, taking the reigns on this week's Complaint Corner for the first time ever about the Italian Cars that were recently added to Horizon 5 and some of the suspect car choices, and even the manufacturer wheel choices. From there, Jason gets particularly riled up about the lack of additional manufacturer wheel choices available for each car, and also the lack of customization options available in the Paint Booth. No F*** That Car this week due to the unusual level of quality (baseless) rants and great points!     Is Forza Good Again Because Someone Quit? Barbie, IMSA Recap

    Get out the tin foil hats, because we have some baseless conspiracy theories for you! Forza Horizon has had a wild hot streak of great updates, and it almost perfectly coincides with the former Playground Games Creative Director leaving the company. Do we have any evidence there's a connection? Nope. Does it line up? Yep, it lines up way too well. Regardless, we still touch on the hottest topic in Forza right now, the Barbie Movie partnership and the corresponding giveaways and heavier-than-expected attention it's getting from official accounts. Jason makes an excellent point about the negatives that come with the Barbie partnership, and it might not be a point you have considered. We also recap yet another incredible year watching IMSA at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (thank you Sam Fellows🐐), we talk Koenigsegg Gemera, and Jason has a spirited Complaint Corner. For the F*** that car segment, it's a car that has only existed a couple of days, and it's a Lamborghini V12.
