    Sorry For Apologizing For My Feelings...

    mars talks about trying to get over her innate habit of apologizing for communicating her feelings and emotions to people in her life... and dude is that sh*t HARD. she's taken the first baby steps but it's gonna be a long and uncomfortable road for her to do it without fail all the time. thank god for therapist, the notes app and text message ghost writers.

    So... I Went on a Date... Like a Real One.

    in this short little update, mars spills the tea on her first ever real live date with a man. in 23 years. like a true date. fingers crossed this works out because she actually likes this man and is scared sh*tless as this is uncharted waters for her. she is trying to step into her *feminine energy* and he makes it shockingly easy to do, but with that comes the fear of losing control and that is not something mars appreciates. 5 stars, do not recommend. feel free to send words of encouragement via DM to her because she needs it.

    ROCD For $200 Alex

    today mars talks about her recent therapy discovery of relationship OCD and the fact that it'll probably be added to the list of sh*t wrong with her. she also talks about her hatred of men, connecting the dots of this newfound ailment and her conflict with wanting a relationship in a world full of situationships and neverending talking stages. this episode was originally an hour long and she managed to cut it in half so... you're welcome.

    Mental Health + The Black Community

    TW: this episode topic may be triggering to some so proceed with caution, there is a brief mention of suicide late in the episode as well. a little late posting but better late than never right? today mars talks about her past, bullying, when she thinks her mental health issues started and where they are now. she also touches on how her culture and community creates huge stigmas, making it even more difficult to come to terms with and confront those battles for yourself. she sends love to everyone personally and publicly struggling with mental health/illness(es) and wants you to know you are not alone in your fight, and it is okay to seek help and feel all the feels for however long you may need 💕

    Healing from a breakup when y'all weren't together

    mars spills all tea, no holding back on how a devastating breakup has been plaguing her for the past 6 months. there's one thing that's a bit different though... they never had a relationship to break up from. this long episode gives you a thorough background on the events leading up to this "breakup" and why exactly she classifies it as so. this will be one of many epi's that talk about the mentioned male and she promises they won't all be this long. buckle up, grab your drink, snack and listen to one hell of story. also mom, don't listen to the episode... i beg.
