    S2E13 - It’s A Wonderful Life

    Volume III: Is It Christmas? Jamin reacts to It’s A Wonderful Life for the first time this episode, closing out our debatable Christmas lineup AND the season :( This black and white classic brings forth QUITE the discussion on suicide, authenticity in acting, character driven stories, and so much more! But we do have to ask a, maybe unexpected, question of course…..IS “It’s A Wonderful Life” actually a Christmas movie? Thank you all so much for listening this season!     S2E12 - Die Hard

    Volume III: Is It Christmas? Yippee-ki-yay! Perhaps one of the most polarizing debates of all time! IS DIE HARD A CHRISTMAS MOVIE??? Rebekah and Jamin come into this action classic with no info and come out of totally changed. For the better or worse? That is to be seen.     Volume III: Is It Christmas? Boys and girls of every age! Welcome to Volume III :) In our first movie of those lineup we are bridging the gap between Halloween and Christmas! Jamin and Rebekah watch this stop motion classic for the first time ever and give their takes and reactions to it. Is this a Halloween or Christmas movie? You’ll have to listen to find out!

    Volume II: Horror Classics Closing out our second volume, Jamin and Rebekah both watch the iconic Carrie White and her coming of age story for the very first time! In this episode we have a spirited discussion over the explicit content of the movie, it’s themes and story, and react to it’s religious and supernatural elements! A girl taking her story into her hands, a boy giving her a chance, a group of high schoolers acting insane, I mean what could go wrong? Surely to be a night (episode*) we’ll never forget ;)

    S2E9 - Psycho

    Volume II: Horror Classics On this weeks episode, Rebekah takes Jamin for his first ever trip to the Bates motel! Jamin goes into this movie knowing a whole lot, but also having avoided some key details! Discussions on what makes an effective scary movie, plot twists, originality, Psychos impact on cinema, and everything in between abound! What will this horror fan think of his first time viewing of one of cinemas most iconic horrors? Will it land or drive him a little….mad?

    S2E8 - The Blair Witch Project

    Volume II: Horror Classics. In 1994, a trio of student filmmakers went into the Black Hills forest to film their documentary on the “Blair Witch”. They were never seen again. This footage is allegedly that very footage they shot. An iconic example of viral marketing, Jamin didn’t see this movie until high school, and Rebekah is watching it for the first time here in this episode! This movie brings a whole new type of scare for Jamin and Rebekah to discuss, and some trivia that really brings the discussion on behind the scenes ethics to a head. Will this experimental horror film land for Rebekah, or will this be another The Exorcist?

    Volume II: Horror Classics. The scariest movie of all time, so they say! And Jamin and Rebekah never caught it! In this episode we venture into William Friedkins iconic nightmare for the first time and see if this horror flick from the 70s holds up in the 2020s for first time watchers! With an unprecedented disclaimer from Rebekah at the jump of our episode, today truly is….a wonderful day for an exorcism….

    Volume II: Horror Classics What’s your favorite scaarrrryy movie?? In this episode, Rebekah dives into Scream for the very first time and unpacks the slasher genre! With lots of expectations going in, this very meta movie gave lots to discuss all the way from the rules of a slasher, to the tropes horror fans love, to what moments scared Rebekah! Jamin being an avid Scream fan brings his best poker face as Rebekah tries to figure out who the Ghostface killer really is…it’s an episode you definitely don’t want to miss!
