XXXII Sunday of Ordinary Time, Gospel according to Mathew 25, 1-13 Keep Your Lamp Shining! 🪔 | Sunday Gospel for Kids | Matthew 25:1–13 🪔 How do we keep our hearts ready for Jesus? In the Sunday Gospel for November 8, 2026, Jesus tells the parable of the ten bridesmaids. The wise ones bring extra oil for their lamps, ready to welcome the bridegroom even when he arrives later than expected. Jesus invites us to nurture our friendship with Him every day. Like a lamp that needs oil, our faith needs care. Prayer, forgiveness, and loving others help us live with hearts ready to welcome Him. We can begin today—in the way we speak, share, listen, and help at home. 💛 This Sunday Gospel for kids invites children and parents to explore Bible lessons for kids and grow together in Catholic family faith. What helps your family keep the light of faith shining? 🙏 Subscribe for more Bible stories and share this reflection with another family. FAMILY ACTION Draw a lamp together and place it near your dinner table. Each evening this week, pray, “Jesus, help us be ready to welcome You.” Then let everyone choose one loving action for the next day—and follow through! www.piliescobar.com
