    Meditation: Re-Learning the Language of Compassion

    Even when we start our day with the best of intentions, it's so easy for our thoughts to run wild... so wild that we may not even notice we've begun using language that sounds more *negative-Nancy* rather than friendly.  In this meditation, we’re invited to take a step back and reconnect to the natural rhythm of our breath, our heart beat, and our *native* language of compassion and understanding—the language that nurtures our mind and body. Whatever top biggest problems you’re tackling in your life right now, know that you’re not alone. Someone, somewhere, in another part of the world is going through a similar challenge.     [GK56] From DISTRACTED to "DRUNK" with LOVE🥰🥂

    We have so many options these days to either "entertain" us or to "distract" us. From scrolling social media, binging TV, binging the news, binging on snacks, eating out, retail therapy... And the reason we do these things and the reason for anything we do is... to satisfy 6 Basic Human Needs, which we'll cover in this episode. When life seems dull or boring and like a repeat of yesterday, we look for inputs and activities that EXCITE us and make us feel ALIVE. And... When life gets overwhelming where we have TOO much going on, we look for inputs and activities that calm us or numb us so we don't have to think so much and so we can escape from reality... even if just for a while. Many of these activities fall under the umbrella of "distractions"... and when left unchecked where we can't say NO to them... they become addictions. In this episode we have a chat about the ULTIMATE distraction to rule them all... based on Einstein's advice. 3 distractions I tried to quit cold turkey and what helped me cut my ties with them A riddle for you to solve ;) and... the million dollar question that helps us access love anytime, anywhere.     [GK62]: How to Effectively Communicate What We Know

    Have you ever caught yourself getting caught up in the facts and details in a conversation and lose sight of how your words and your point is received by the other person… even though you come into the conversation with the best intentions? This is the shadow of Gene Key 62 in action, the shadow of intellect where we place too much emphasis on intellectualizing a concept without making it relatable enough for the person to do something with the information. In this episode we cover how we can share our knowledge more effectively, and how both Stephen King and Jane Goodall who have gate 62 defined in their chart do this with precision, where they are able to effectively explain complex ideas and concepts in a clear precise manner in such a way people relate to... like they're just having a casual friendly conversation with you.     GK19 Shadow Share: Moving from Co-dependence to Independence

    If you've ever been afraid of saying something that might offend someone... or doing something that draws attention... because you either fear someone might not like you, or reject you, or even disown or leave you... or if you're doing something because you want some attention... the cause may very well lie in Gene Key 19 and the shadow of co-dependence... where we seek approval, validation, attention, a sense of belonging or fitting in from others. And where we rely on others to make us feel good. In this episode I share my personal experience with this shadow and working through my more recent discovery of my deeper rooted fear of abandonment. AND how I realized that the only person I needed to fear rejecting/disowning/abandoning me is... ME. We step through how we can move from co-dependence to independence through a heightened level of sensitivity... of our needs and the needs of others.     🧬Gene Key 53: The Key to FINISHING What We Start // Starting Things for the RIGHT Reasons

    Are you someone who tends to start a bunch of new projects, jumping from one activity to another, one course to another, and find yourself not completing many of them?  This is a common shadow quality that relates to gene key 53 / human design gate 53, and can plague anyone… particularly Manifesting Generators because we are multi-passionate with many interests and we like to go FAST!  In this episode, we cover *starting* things for the "right" reasons, along with the key to FINISHING what we start. We dive into the shadow quality of immaturity that might show up when we go and start something new without clear intention… a not-yet-mature approach that either keeps us from completing something or from getting the results we want… And how through expansion we are able to call in greater abundance and open the door to new possibilities in our evolution. I’ll also share my personal run-in with this shadow tendency along with a contrasting experience where I approached a new initiative from a place of love and from a desire to improve the lives of the collective, instead of from a less mature level of fear and my need for validation. Here are some questions to facilitate activating the energy of Gene Key 53… switching on the Developer and the Initiator genes in you, and seeing your passion projects through. My recommendation is… for any question you have an immediate answer to… either journal on it or answer them out loud…  and listen to the sound of your voice with LOVE in your heart… this will silence any old immature fear you had before ;) … Here are the questions… What is that one thing I’ve been wanting to try but haven’t because fear or ego has gotten in my way?  Whatever activity I start today… what is my honest intention for doing this? Where is my approach or process immature?  Where am I putting pressure on myself to succeed?  Where am I fearing failure?  What can I take full responsibility for? How can I make my process more mature?  How can I allow myself to develop and evolve naturally?  What expectations can I let go of? How might I use my imagination to dream up wonderful scenarios of how all this will play out? Where am I doing the same thing over and expecting a different result?
