Are You Using the Authority Jesus Gave You?

Jesus gave His followers authority—but are you using the authority He gave you?In “Authority That Overcomes Evil,” Ps. Armand Niemand explores spiritual authority through Luke 10:19–20 and challenges believers to put their faith into practice. This message explains why authority comes through Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Through the account of the seven sons of Sceva, Ps. Armand emphasises the importance of a living relationship with Jesus, integrity and a consistent life of prayer and obedience. The sermon applies this teaching to four areas:• Resisting sin, temptation and destructive habits.• Bringing our thoughts and feelings under God’s truth.• Standing in Christ’s redemption from the curse.• Sharing the Gospel and making disciples. The closing question is personal: do you know the authority Jesus has given you, and are you using it?Scriptures referenced:Luke 10:19–20Revelation 12:11Acts 19:15–16James 4:7Job 1:12Romans 6:12–131 Corinthians 10:13Philippians 4:6–82 Corinthians 10:42 Timothy 1:7Galatians 3:13Philippians 2:9–11Matthew 28:18–20Matthew 16:19Connect with JFN MinistriesWebsite:https://www.jfn.org.zaFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/JesusForNationsMinistriesInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/jfnministries/Giving:https://www.jfn.org.za/donateWhich part of this message challenged you to take action? It’s Not Too Late to Come Back to God

Do you feel you’ve made too many mistakes or drifted too far to come back to God? In “It’s Not Too Late,” Ps. Kyle Stewart explores God’s invitation to return with a repentant heart. Through Joel’s call to come back to God and the story of the prodigal son, this message addresses regret, destructive situations and the belief that your opportunity to change has passed. The father’s response to his returning son reveals compassion and grace. God receives us in our brokenness and calls us into a changed life through Jesus Christ. The message closes with Martha, Lazarus and an encouragement to keep trusting God when hope seems lost. It’s not too late to: • Turn back to truth. • Walk away from a toxic situation. • Change direction. • Make things right. • Pursue God’s will and live for His glory. Are You Following God’s Truth or Your Own?

Are you following God’s truth—or a version shaped by your own desires, emotions and assumptions? In “A Word of Knowledge P2 — Walk in Truth,” JFN Ministries explores what it means to know, love, live and share the truth. Drawing on 3 John 1:2–4, this message connects walking in truth with spiritual wellbeing and calls us to let God’s Word challenge how we think, decide and live. Through four practical steps, the sermon shows why following Jesus involves more than hearing a message or agreeing with Scripture. It includes obedience, dependence on the Holy Spirit, sharing our faith and allowing trusted believers to speak into our lives. • Know and obey God’s Word. • Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. • Speak the truth in love and share it with others. • Examine yourself and embrace accountability. The message closes with a warning about “truth concoctions”: mixing personal desires, emotions and Scripture taken out of context into something we call truth. Scriptures referenced in the sermon and accompanying slides: 3 John 1:2–4 John 17:17 John 8:31–32 John 14:6 John 16:13 Romans 8:14 1 Corinthians 2:9–10 Matthew 28:19–20 Ephesians 4:15 Ephesians 5:21 Psalm 139:23–24 Matthew 6:22–23 Connect with JFN Ministries Website: https://www.jfn.org.za Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JesusForNationsMinistries Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jfnministries/ Giving: https://www.jfn.org.za/donate Which of these four areas needs your attention this week? Free through truth!

In this message, Ps. Armand Niemand challenges us to go beyond simply knowing truth. We are called to know truth, love truth, live truth and share truth — even when truth is uncomfortable. The message points us back to Jesus Christ, who is the Truth, and challenges us to examine whether we are willing to receive God's truth even when it confronts our feelings, opinions, circumstances and assumptions. This message explores: • Why truth is more than facts, feelings or personal opinions • Why Jesus is the Truth • Why knowing truth is not enough if we refuse to love and live it • Why the Church has a role in helping one another walk in truth • Why speaking truth requires courage • How we can have honest “truth conversations” with one another • Why truth may hurt, but ultimately brings freedom Scripture References: John 8:31–32 John 14:6 John 18:38 1 Timothy 3:15 2 Timothy 4:3–4 Ephesians 4:15 Hebrews 3:13 Romans 15:14 Proverbs 27:5–6 Matthew 7:1–6 Matthew 16:23 Psalm 141:5 Connect with JFN Ministries Website: https://www.jfn.org.za Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JesusForNationsMinistries Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jfnministries/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsHYm6hNQ8NrxMTE6gAuplg If this message challenged or encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to hear the truth of Jesus. What does it mean to serve?

You were never meant to simply attend church—you have a role to play in the body of Christ. Serving God is not about having the biggest platform. It is about understanding your place, being equipped, taking responsibility and faithfully doing what God has called you to do. In this message, we look at what it means to serve as part of the body of Christ through the word SERVE: • S — Sundays & Systems: Sunday gatherings matter, and every ministry role helps the church fulfil its mission.• E — Equipped: God equips His people for the work of ministry and for building up the body of Christ.• R — Responsibility: Serving requires hard work, accountability, passion, power and purpose.• V — Vocation: God has prepared good works for us and calls us to live according to His purpose.• E — Eternal Value: Our labour in the Lord is not in vain. The challenge is simple: don't just attend—serve. Every part of the body matters, and God has called each of us to play a part. If this message encourages or challenges you, share it with someone who needs to discover their place in serving God. Understanding who God has called you to be!

As the Bride of Christ, we have been given an identity that is holy, glorious and set apart for Jesus. But holiness is not something we achieve through our own strength. It is a gift from Jesus — and our preparation is how we respond to that gift. In this message, Ps. Armand Niemand explores what it means to be the glorious Bride of Christ and why believers have a responsibility to prepare themselves for the Bridegroom. This message looks at: • Our identity as the Bride of Christ• Holiness as a gift from Jesus• Our responsibility to pursue personal holiness and integrity• The importance of restoring and shepherding one another• Our responsibility to prepare others• The future marriage of the Lamb• Living with anticipation and expectation for Jesus The Church is not simply a building we attend. We are the people of God — the glorious Bride being prepared for the Bridegroom. Why Following Jesus Alone Isn’t the Whole Story

The Church is more than a building. It is a people — living stones being built together into God’s spiritual temple. But what does it really mean to follow Jesus as part of His Church? And can we truly live out our faith in isolation? In this message, we explore the wonder of Jesus-and-Us and what Scripture teaches about belonging to the body of Christ. Every believer is called into something bigger than an individual relationship with Jesus: we are added to His Church, we belong to His body and bride, and we are called into fellowship with Jesus and His people. • We are living stones being built into God’s spiritual temple.• Every believer is added to the Church and belongs to the body of Christ.• Our identity in Christ includes belonging to God’s people.• An isolated Christian identity becomes a distorted Christian identity.• Biblical fellowship involves partnership, purpose, protection and shared life.• We are called to encourage one another and remain connected to the people of God.
