    Episode 228: Oculus

Still in the middle of our SHOCK-tober sessions, we’re diving into Mike Flanagan’s Oculus for Episode 228! Sometimes, your family can be your biggest opp. 👀 This was Jason’s first time watching the film, so we tapped into his thoughts to see whether the experience still holds up or feels outdated more than a decade after its release. We also explored a long list of films where evil entities manipulate their victims, but does Oculus rank among the best? Or did the flashbacks take away from the overall experience? We get into all of that and more before answering the most important question: Was It Good Though?  Join the conversation! Share your thoughts on Oculus and let us know your favorite Mike Flanagan project, whether it’s a movie or a TV show, in the comments! 🔥 The conversation doesn’t stop here! Loki S1 & S2 | Road To Doomsday

We’re back on the Road To Doomsday, and this time we’re diving into Loki Seasons 1 & 2! Shoutout to CJ from Toontastic Journeys for joining us. Loki’s story has become one of the biggest pieces of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, so we had to revisit both seasons with fresh eyes and see just how much these episodes could be setting up for Avengers: Doomsday. We’re breaking down Loki’s journey from the God of Mischief to the God of Stories, his time with the TVA, Mobius and Sylvie, the introduction of He Who Remains, the Battle of the Kangs, and that wild Season 2 finale where Loki sacrifices himself to hold the timelines together. And with Endgame Encore giving us even MORE to think about, we’re connecting Loki’s story to Steve Rogers and Peggy, branching timelines, incursions, Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange, Wanda, and the possibility that the choices made throughout the Multiverse Saga are finally catching up with everyone. We also debate what Loki’s role could be in Doomsday. Is he going to be pulling heroes together across different timelines? Could he help move Steve and Peggy somewhere they can actually exist together? Is Loki watching everything unfold… or is Doom already several steps ahead of him? Plus, we get into Sylvie, Mobius, B-15, Casey, the TVA, Thor, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, Blade, and who we think could actually survive Doomsday. And because we’re getting closer and closer to December, we HAD to ask: What five MCU projects would you tell someone to watch if they only had time to prepare for Doomsday? Of course, we couldn’t end this Road To Doomsday without answering the biggest question…WAS IT GOOD THOUGH? 🔥 The conversation doesn’t stop here! Episode 227: Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight

It’s SHOCKtober and we’re locked in on spooky movies. This weeks horror movie comes from 95, Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight. We get into a very charming Billy Zane and an on the rise actress in Jada Pinkett Smith! We discuss if we would be accepting of the blood as Bryker was and fight for the rest of our days. Is this film just Beetlejuice for adults! The poor decisions everyone made out of selfishness. What, if anything, could the COLLECTOR show us to contemplate switching on the crew. The very raunchy jokes within the movie and much much more and most importantly, WAS IT GOOS THOUGH!?
