    Today, we’re remembering the extraordinary life and career of Sir Patrick Stewart — one of the most recognizable and respected actors in the history of television, film, and theatre. From his humble beginnings in Mirfield, Yorkshire, England, to becoming an internationally beloved performer, Patrick Stewart’s journey was anything but ordinary. Before he became Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the USS Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stewart spent years honing his craft on the stage, becoming an accomplished Shakespearean actor and a member of the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company. Then came the roles that introduced him to generations of fans: Captain Picard in Star Trek, Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men franchise, and countless other memorable performances across film, television, animation, and video games. But there was much more to Patrick Stewart than the characters we loved. His childhood, personal struggles, relationships, advocacy work, friendships, and remarkable career all helped shape the man behind those iconic performances. In this episode, Kevin and Jay look back at his life, his accomplishments, his impact on entertainment, and the legacy he leaves behind.
