Hundreds of strangers quietly sitting together like contestants waiting to be voted off an island. Some people looked terrified, others annoyed, and a few seemed oddly excited to participate in the legal version of “The Price is Right.” After days of observation from the audience section, the moment finally came — getting called into the actual jury box.
