Episode 339: Seline Shenoy - Finding Your Way Back to Yourself

Seline Shenoy gave her life away in pieces, and each piece looked reasonable at the time. She had a career path mapped out in the United States, visa and sponsorship in place, and she let it go to move back to Dubai for the man she was seeing. She stopped mentioning the books she read. She stopped bringing up the research on human behaviour she found fascinating. At parties in his affluent circle, she left her brain at home. Seven years in, when it ended, she looked in the mirror and did not recognise the person there. What I did not expect is that she had known for a long time. Friends had warned her. She could see what the relationship was doing to her. What she lacked was not insight but someone to walk her out, which is eventually what a relationship coach did — after first trying to save it, then telling her plainly that it was not healthy and she needed to end it. The real work came after. Two years without dating anyone, spent looking for her own part in what happened rather than cataloguing his. "You have to do that inner excavation. You must." That excavation became The Dream Catcher, the blog she started in 2014 while she was still raw from it, and later the podcast she has run since 2018. For anyone who has quietly edited themselves down to fit somewhere they do not belong. Episode 338: Scott Lester Woods - Your Brain Isn't Broken, It's Lost

Scott Lester Woods was robbed on his 25th birthday. He was living in a Buddhist temple at the time, and someone walked into his room and took everything he owned. What he remembers is not the loss. It is that nobody there offered him sympathy. They felt sorry for the thief. Then they spent the next day asking him why his happiness was cheap enough that a stolen laptop could carry it off. He had gone to the temple after a moment on Koh Phi Phi, sitting in the most beautiful place he had ever seen and realising he had brought the same miserable version of himself along with him. That misery started at nineteen, through roughly two years of depression, when he decided some people are simply born with a happy brain and he was not one of them. What moved him was not a technique. It was a reframe: "I'm not broke, I don't have a broken brain, I've got a hunter-gatherer nomadic brain, that's been now plonked in a society that it doesn't recognize." Twelve years on, Scott is a clinical hypnotherapist and identity coach working with founders and high performers at the level of identity rather than willpower — the difference, as he puts it, between becoming a non-smoker and being someone who quit. When I told him the executives listening are on calls sixteen hours a day, he did not reach for a routine. He said they are one belief and one skill away from changing it. For anyone who has changed the job, the city, or the relationship, and found they brought the same person along. Episode 337: Patrick Engasser - Born Blind, Ranked First

Patrick Engasser had the best excuse available to anyone in outside sales. He was born blind. He cannot drive. The work means walking into companies you have never visited, asking for the decision maker, and reading a room you cannot see. Two years in, he was ranked somewhere in the 500s out of roughly 615 sales professionals in his organisation. What makes this conversation worth your time is that the blindness turns out not to be the story. Patrick describes those two years as time spent looking out of the window for someone to blame, with reasons good enough that nobody would ever have challenged them. That, he argues, is the more dangerous kind of excuse, because you are never forced to defend it. “The problem with excuses is they’re very expensive. And a lot of times, the invoice doesn’t show up until later.” He hired a business and sales coach at the end of that second year. Fourteen months later he was his company’s top new account closer, then a trainer, then district manager for the next decade. But he is careful about where he puts the turning point, and it is not the coach. It is a decision he made before hiring one, and it is the part of this episode I keep coming back to. We also get into why he thinks confidence works in reverse of how most people are taught, what he means by the difference between vision and sight, and the client who told him her life was over. For anyone sitting in the 500s right now, quietly running out of reasons to keep going. Episode 336: Yana Fry - Masculinity, Absent Fathers, and the Manosphere

Ask most people to define healthy masculinity and you get adjectives. Yana Fry gives you behaviour. A man who is stable and consistent. Who does what he said he would do, shows up when he said he would show up, and finishes what he starts. She had to go and find that definition, because nobody handed it to her. Her parents divorced when she was eight, after her father spent twenty years married to her mother and then fell in love with her mother’s best friend. Her older brother could not carry it, and the drinking that started around then has gone on for decades. Yana spent years, fifteen of them in therapy, working out what she had never been shown at home. Which is exactly why her position on angry men is worth sitting with. She has watched the comments fill with hostility beneath a reel about women and marriage after forty. She has looked into where the loudest voices online came from and kept finding the same house: an absent father, or a violent one, and pain nobody ever named. When I asked what she would say if one of those men sat across from her, she did not reach for an argument. She would ask how he is doing. We also get into something I run into constantly in my own coaching work — men who will tell me things they will never tell their wives. Her answer to that was not the one I was expecting, and it puts the responsibility somewhere uncomfortable. For anyone who has stopped believing this conversation can still be had honestly. Episode 335: Aoife Legget - How My Lowest Point Became A Turning Point

In this episode of Limitless, I sit down with Aoife Leggett, mindset and performance coach, Master Breathwork Teacher, and founder of Three Sixty Coaching in Ireland, for a conversation about burnout, identity, breathwork, and the moment life forces you to stop pretending everything is fine. Aoife works with high performance athletes, riders, business owners, and individuals who want to perform at their best without losing their health, happiness, or sense of self. But her path into this work did not come from theory. It came from living through a season where, on the outside, she appeared to be functioning, while inside she felt lonely, unmotivated, burnt out, and disconnected from herself. After years in the equine world, Aoife found herself in a role and relationship that looked right from a distance but felt deeply wrong up close. Then one day, while driving to work, she could not catch her breath. Looking back, she recognized it as the moment her body stopped whispering and started sounding the alarm. What stayed with me was her honesty around one hard truth: “No one’s coming to save you. It’s your life.” We talk about performance, nervous system regulation, breathwork, career uncertainty, relationships, rock bottom, and the courage it takes to move home, rebuild routine, ask for support, and begin again. This episode is for anyone who looks capable on the outside but knows they are no longer living in alignment. Sometimes taking your life back starts with admitting you cannot keep going the same way. Episode 334: André Du Rietz - His Bike Broke, He Pushed It 35KM, Then Ran A Marathon

In this episode of Limitless, I sit down with André Du Rietz, the Swedish age group triathlete whose IRONMAN Kalmar finish became much more than a race story. André was on track for the best performance of his life. After a strong swim and bike leg, he was chasing an ambitious 8 hour 30 minute finish when everything changed. With around 35 km left on the bike, a puncture and broken valve ended the race he had planned. Most athletes would have stopped. André started running. He ran beside his bike in cycling shoes for roughly 35 km to transition, with broken cleats, scraped toes, and hours without proper water or nutrition. Then, instead of calling it a day, he changed into running shoes and completed the marathon. But what stayed with me most was not only the physical endurance. It was the deeper story behind the mindset. André speaks openly about bullying, depression, false confidence, anger, therapy, forgiveness, and learning that while we cannot always control what happens, we can choose how we respond. This conversation is about what happens when the goal disappears and all that remains is the next step. For anyone going through a difficult season, André’s story is a reminder that resilience is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is simply refusing to stop, asking for help, letting go of old pain, and moving forward one step at a time. Episode 333: Elika - She Burned Out Twice Before Waking Up

In this episode of Limitless, I sit down with Elika Tasker, Energy Strategist, speaker, wellness consultant, entrepreneur, and founder, for a conversation about burnout, relationships, purpose, and what it really takes to build success without losing yourself. Elika’s story is not about one collapse. It is about burning out twice before finally listening to what her body, relationships, and inner world were trying to tell her. Her first burnout came in corporate life, where she was first in, last out, and chasing recognition in places that could never truly give her peace. She changed her diet, left the corporate world, studied nutrition, and opened Singapore’s first refined sugar free organic restaurant. But then the same symptoms returned inside her own business. That second burnout became the real turning point. She could no longer blame the boss, the company, or the environment. She had to look inward and ask what was driving her need to achieve. What makes this conversation powerful is Elika’s view that energy is not just physical stamina. It is also mental clarity, emotional honesty, relational safety, and spiritual alignment. For high achievers, the danger is believing success can be built only through effort, while ignoring the deeper energy leaks underneath. This episode is for leaders, entrepreneurs, and high performers who look successful on the outside but feel exhausted or disconnected inside. Success should not cost you your health, your relationships, or your peace. Episode 332: Alexander Cork - When School Becomes The Problem

In this episode of Limitless, I sit down with Alexander Cork, Head of Admissions at Crimson Global Academy in Australia, for a conversation every parent should hear, especially when a child is no longer thriving at school. Alex shares a heartbreaking story about a young student in Australia who had been bullied for years and later took her own life. What stayed with me was not only the tragedy itself, but Alex’s response to it. He felt that the family may not have known there were other education options available when the school environment had become unsafe, overwhelming, or simply wrong for their child. This conversation challenges one of the most common assumptions many parents carry: that a good school is automatically the right school. Sometimes the school has the reputation, the history, and the status, but your child is still suffering inside it. We talk about school refusal, bullying, student mental health, online learning, and the difference between a child who does not want to learn and a child who cannot cope with the physical school environment anymore. Alex also speaks directly to busy parents and leaders who may be carrying career pressure while missing the signs at home. His message is clear: when your child is unhappy, do not simply push harder. Listen earlier, question the old path, and be willing to find another way before the damage becomes deeper.
