Great motivation…again

I’ve known about Anna since the ww days on connect. I lost 25 lbs with Ww but have since gained the weight all back. I wouldn’t say “the program doesn’t work” as I’ve heard others say. My problem was tracking—I got tired of tracking

Now here I am back again and listening on my walks for motivation. I’m 56 and a stress eater with poor body image. I now follow Anna and Abby on instagram

Prior to my ww loss, I lost 50 pounds after college where I was running almost daily like it was my job . Towards the end of that loss I got a gym membership and became a “gym rat” but had very low self esteem and the wrong boyfriend. That loss was great but not sustainable- now a days I can’t afford to go to the gym for 2 hours each day

Anyway I guess what I’m trying to say is what we all say “I know what to do”. Lol. I’m trying to follow a wt loss program for 6 weeks . I’m about 2 weeks in. After that I hope to add some hand weights since these days I don’t have a gym membership but have a full time job, husband and middle school aged kids

Just want to say thank you Anna for taking some of your personal time and effort to put together this podcast. People ARE listening, but you already know that!

I’ve only listened to a couple podcasts where you had Abby on but in the future can you please ask her to speak into the microphone? She has a very soft voice and I end up tuning up volume when she speaks & then have to lower it when you’re speaking

Exploring emotional eating

This podcast was great! Although it doesn’t happen a lot in my life nowadays, (because I have less stress than I did a few years ago) I know my emotional eating happens when I’m stressed or annoyed/angry and my first impulse is to grab something “snacky” and just start shoving it in my face without even tasting it or enjoying it and the dialogue in my head is usually, “I don’t care” and I literally visualize myself eating the entire thing in an angry huff. My mindset has changed since I started with RTF and now having these tools is definitely helpful when I do have an emotional moment and want to drown it out with food. Thank you for this!
