    We're back!After a long hiatus, the CCHN boys have revived CHD from the realm of dead podcasts. On this episode hosts Devin & Joe sit down with former captain and newly named head coach of the CMU D3 ACHA Men's Hockey Team, Brennan Martin-The boys catch up with their summer and touch base with Marty about making his return to Mount Pleasant as well as deep dive into his hockey career.-As a former six-year captain, Brennan talks about first arriving at CMU and the culture of winning instilled in the program since his freshman year.-The group recaps this past season for the D3 Chippewas, highlighting their best (and worst) moments during another successful year and bid to the National Tournament in Marlborough.-Brennan also talks the 2023 recruiting class and what he expects from a young and talented group of players.Finally, Devin and Joe take a look at the 23-24' season schedule and preview some of their favorite matchups of the season.All this and more on this edition of CHD!     On this edition of the Chippewa Hockey Download hosts Devin, Joe, and Regan sit down with a member of the CMU D3 ACHA Men's Hockey Team, Charlie Hayes. -The boys catch up with their summer plans and experiences working in media, as well as Regan's time as an umpire for baseball. -As Assistant Captain and former Team President, Charlie talks how him and high school teammate Austin Whaley came to CMU during a difficult time in the team's history, his time as team president, and what it was like to thereafter win the 2020 conference title, the Vezina Cup. -The group recaps this past season for the D3 Chippewas, highlighting their best (and worst) moments during another successful year and bid to the National Tournament, and the hard fought season finale game against Hope College. -Chippewa Hockey Download's Ring of Fire!     The Chippewa Hockey Download Episode 1: Introduction

    Welcome to the Chippewa Hockey Download! In the pilot episode of their brand new podcast Devin, Regan, and Joe introduce themselves. They talk about how they decided to attend Central Michigan University, their transition to college, and eventually joining the media team for CMU hockey. They then reminisce about the past season following the Division 3 men's club team, sharing their favorite moments and places to travel during the course of the 2021-2022 campaign. Finally, Regan and Joe share their experiences traveling to the ACHA National Tournament in St. Louis Missouri, and lastly their favorite moment from the year. New episodes coming soon!
