    In Cornelia Diethelm We Trust.

    Voice und Bots sind Themen, die sehr unterschätzt werden und noch viel Dialog brauchen, wenn wir mit ihnen eine lebenswerte Welt gestalten wollen, die die Paradigmen aus Ausbeutung von Mensch und Natur, epistemischer Ungerechtigkeit, und Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung nicht mit automatisieren wollen.  Ich spreche heute mit Cornelia Diethelm, sie ist Politik- und Volkswirtschaftswissenschaftlerin, Technoethikerin, Unternehmerin. Sie arbeitet als Expertin für Digitale Ethik.Cornelia Diethelm hat lange im Bereich Kommunikation, Politikberatung und Wirtschaftsethik gearbeitet und ist Gründerin der Shifting Society AG, in der sie sich mit Unternehmen über die ethischen Folgen der Digitalisierung in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft auseinandersetzt. Cornelia Diethelm hat auch das Centre for Digital Responsability ins Leben gerufen, in dem jedes Jahr die Shift stattfindet, das ist eine  Fachkonferenz zur Digitalen Ethik. Ausserdem hat sie den ersten Zertifikatskurs für Digitale Ethik im deutschsprachigen Raum aufgebaut, welchen sie bis heute als Studiengangsleiterin an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft in Zürich verantwortet.     What is Conversation Design?

    - So Maggie, you said you are working with Jackpots, making people rich 🤑🤑🤑? - Well, kind of.. I do make people rich but it is not a lottery, it's 🤖🤖🤖. ----- This is one of the tough situations I am in when I need to explain what I do outside of the voice industry. And I'm happy people ask! The more we talk, question and share interdisciplinary knowledge the more we can come to terms and build good software. It is not enough to build software that does things good. Today it is crucial to build software that does good things. Listen, get in touch and : have a say. Don't drown in consuming media - we need your brain.

    In Dr. Laura Dreessen We Trust.

    Es muss nicht immer ein "mhm" sein. Ein Roboter muss menschliches Gebaren nicht 1:1 nachahmen. Zu häufig wird es dann unheimlich, weil die Bots doch nicht so menschlich sind, wie sie simulieren. Es bringt mehr, eine Ausdrucksform zu finden, die diesem Medium entspricht. Es kann sogar ein Zeichen von Charisma sein, die Maschine gerade nichts sagen zu lassen. Dr. Laura Dreessen macht solche Erkenntnisse für die Gestaltung von Sprachassistenten fruchtbar. In dieser Folge hören wir, wie wichtig die Rolle des Designers nicht nur für ästhetisches, sondern ethisches Verhalten der Bots ist.
