It all comes down to what we leave behind for the next generation. I want to talk about politics, culture, current events, religion, and anything else that affects our children's inheritance. Democrat or Republican, we should all be having long form discussions so that we can make the most informed and most effective decisions. No idea is safe...but I'm not afraid to say one is better than the other! We will dive deep into ideas and opinions on topics in the United States and around the world!

    GOOD NEWS!!! A Personal Story That Speaks Volumes About Politics and Culture.

    In this episode I wanted to share so good news; some news that says so much about truth, politics, and our culture. I took a break from some of the more serious current events like the FBI raid on Trump, Liz Cheney's loss, and the new legislation being signed into law. Instead I wanted to share a personal story in hopes to give some encouragement to those who might have similar views on politics, culture, current events, race, etc... While on vacation and old friend of mine reached out. We hadn't spoken in probably 12 years and we both decided to reconnect and catch up over the phone. Over the course of this call I was thanking God and feeling a sense of rejuvenation. In these times it can be hard to stay positive with all the cries of racism, our schools being flooded with Marxism, and our freedoms being diminished, but this phone call with my friend gave me hope...hope that things can work out, hope that we aren't as divided as the news makes it seem, and hope that our country is still strong.  EMAIL US @ podcast.pcp@gmail.com

    DALLAS SHOOTING, Uvalde Shooter and What It Means For Parents and Our Culture.

    BREAKING NEWS: Woman in a Dallas, TX airport opens fire. This happened a few hours before the recording of this episode. I lay out the details we know now.  In this episode I take a deeper dive on Salvador Rolando Ramos, the Uvalde shooter, and look at the reports that led up to this horrible tragedy. He was just a kid, a kid that needed a lot more than what he was given. I hope to offer a "big-picture" perspective on what this shooting means for parents and our culture as a whole. The terrible events in Texas highlights the interwoven nature of our politics, culture, and our greater purpose as Americans. Too often we want to separate things into neat little boxes, but the murder of these young children shows that we cannot always do that. When we fail our children, there are consequences. The Uvalde shooting is the culmination of many failures.     Emperor Newsom's Absurd Gun Legislation

    In this episode I cry for help because my state is bonkers! In the wake of the latest school shooting Gavin Newsom, the hypocritical Democrat Governor of California, has passed some absurd legislation allowing victims of gun crimes to sue the gun manufacturers and dealers. Not only is the concept crazy, the claims made in some of these articles are horribly lacking of context and downright misleading.  I breakdown some of the articles, look at the stats, and offer my analysis. Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative, we all want gun violence to end, but how do we do it? Is violence human nature and will it persist if we took away all firearms? I think it's a mental health problem, not a gun problem.     Sesame Street Racism & Absurd Congressional Spending

    Congress has offered us another perfect example of ridiculous government spending and has once again proven themselves to be selfish. In this episode I highlight a small example of silly Congressional spending to give themselves privileged access to mental health...while we citizens pay for it. Why do they need extra access to free mental health you ask? The January 6th "Insurrection" of course.  Later in the show we get to more hilarious cries of that "R" word again. You guessed it, "racism". It's everywhere these days. It can be found in your neighborhood, your schools, your family...and even on good ol' Sesame Street. I give my takes on the latest video of supposed racism that's taking over the internet. Unfortunately our culture's inability to think critically has once again effected our kids. I'll dive into my opinions on what really happened and also share some upcoming content for future episodes.

    TACOGATE: Jill Biden likens Latinos to tacos!

    I had to talk about the compelling Tacogate scandal that is plaguing the First Lady. Jill Biden likened the Latino community to "breakfast tacos" and I could not help myself. Yet another comical example of pandering and talking one's self into knots trying to appeal to all the different communities they want to divide us into.  In this episode, I go over exactly what was said and bring you the expected and some of the unexpected reactions to it. Is Jill a racist? Should we be scared that we have elected a family of bigots into the White House? What is real racism and do we need to use that word so much? You might be surprised.

    First Episode! What the heck am I even doing?!

    This is the very first episode of the Politics, Culture, Purpose Podcast! In this episode, I give a brief explanation of why I started this podcast, what we might talk about, and why I think it's important. The Politics, Culture, Purpose Podcast will be discussing politics, culture, current events, religion, and pretty much everything you shouldn't talk about at parties.  I want to relate all of these topics to what I think is our most important purpose...the next generation. With so much going on in our culture I want to talk about things with meaning and consequence. Why is culture and politics so important? It is so important because it directly effects us and...you guessed it, our kids! It's increasingly difficult for both parents and kids in today's world. I want to help with that by sharing my opinions, experiences, and viewpoints in hopes of finding common ground and moving towards truth. Get ready, I might say some things you don't like...but let's talk about it!
