The Ultimate Guide To Restoring The Biblical Family As God Intended: Full Blueprint

Modern family is broken. Very few men truly get excited about fatherhood and family in the same way they do about business or even sports. Why? Frankly, it's because even as Christians, we've bought the secular lie that the family is a "nest". It exists to self-destruct in 18 years. That doesn't motivate a dad, no matter how much he loves each individual in his family. So is family broken? Did God design something poorly? Or is our new, modern experiment with family the problem? Well, God's a perfect designer, so it's not the first one. In this presentation given to 12 Tribes in Columbus, Jeremy lays out the case for getting back to a Biblical vision for family - the multigenerational team on mission. From what's broken, to what the Bible actually says about family, to how you can build that type of family starting this week, this is the blueprint, masterclass, step-by-step reality laid out clearly in Scripture for how to stop living a secular lie and build a family that lasts. Why Christians Must Care About Work and Legacy ft. David Bahnsen

There's a lie that's been sapping the church of purpose over the past hundred or so years. That lie is rooted in individualism, and honestly, a strange view of materialism. We've exchanged covenantal theology with individual theology, and God's hand over all creation for dualism. As such, we've lost the sacredness of work, which causes so much stress, confusion, and chaos in people's lives, and we've neglected a multi-generational, biblical view of family for a short-term, cultural view. My guest today, David Bahnsen, runs a $10 Billion wealth management firm, and writes widely about the issues we discuss today. He's seen a lot when it comes to multi-generational legacies, and has thought a lot about the theology of work, even writing a book on the subject. Dive in for a succinct conversation on the importance of work and family legacy. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 0:34 The Theological Breakdown of Work 5:54 Multigenerational Legacy 8:05 Why Is The Christian Family Not Interested in Multi-Generational Family Legacy? 11:37 Legacy Lessons From High Net Worth Families 13:41 Preserving A Financial Legacy Resources Mentioned: Full-Time: Work and the Meaning of Life by David Bahnsen: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DVRGZRXD/ The Bahnsen Group: https://thebahnsengroup.com/ --- FREE COURSE: 5 Days To Transform Your Family Into A Team: https://familyteams.com/transform --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." How To Not Ruin Your Kids If You're The First Generation To Find Success (in Finances, Faith, etc.)

Are you the first generation to do something in your family? Follow the Lord? Be financially successful? Break the cycle of addiction? This puts you in a uniquely difficult situation as a parent. Your experience growing up will be EXTREMELY different than the one your kids grow up in. The change you've made will impact them. This is a critical time...there's a saying that goes, "shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 3 generations". In other words, someone gets success, they don't pass it on well to their kids, and the kids ruin it all by the time they have kids so the grandkids end up back where the grandparents started. In this episode, I'll break down what we can learn about Isaac navigating his father's wells in Genesis 26. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 How To Raise Kids Who Don't Squander Your Inheritance 1:37 Four Generations in Genesis 2:25 The Most Important Chapter In The Bible About This 6:38 What Do The Wells Mean? 7:55 How We Raised Good Gen 2 Kids Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Financially Successful Women And The Downfall Of The Family (Danica Patrick / Orion Teraban Response)

This is a major part of the fertility crisis. Feminism has made women value independence above all else, and when it comes to getting married and having kids, it's no longer "logical" to get a husband if a woman is making money. In fact, the more money women make, the less likely it is that they'll have children...which is the complete opposite of men. It's almost like feminism was designed to destroy the family or something. Hm... Dive into this conversation with Danica Patrick and Orion Teraban and find out what feminism is doing to women who decide to value the marketplace over the home. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:03 When women accumulate money 3:28 The 2 Theories 7:31 Feminism Overriding Nature 8:49 Interdependence Over Independence Resources Mentioned: Danica Patrick and Orion Teraban Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X25vRBKNKD0 FREE COURSE: 5 Days To Transform Your Family Into A Team: https://familyteams.com/transform --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com --- Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Missionalism: An Alternative to Christian Violence

The 2 main positions on violence in Christianity are Just War Theory and Pacifism. I don't like either of them. In fact, I think there's a third way that really gets to the core of who we are as Christians in a way that I believe is most biblically accurate and true to our identity as followers of Christ. I'm calling it Missionalism, and it has MUCH more to do with fulfilling Jesus' instructions to us as believers to disciple the nations than it does with justifying violence or retreating from society, as the 2 main positions would have us do. Please know that this is Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, not Family Teams or 1KH...which means I often tease out things I'm thinking about, working on, and haven't fully wrapped my head around. Because of that I'd love to get your feedback in the comment section, either on Youtube or on my Substack. Thanks! On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:21 Violence as a Christian 4:04 Just War Theory 6:19 Pacifism 7:59 A Parallel Government 11:44 Missionalism Resources Mentioned: The Patient Ferment of the Early Church by Alan Kreider: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0801048494 --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." What's Wrong With The Evangelical Church? ft. Aaron Renn

I'm excited to be joined by Aaron Renn for today's discussion about the Evangelical Church, what it's getting wrong, why it lags in influence in major institutions, and what assumptions we're getting wrong that's leading to so much of the family destruction we're seeing today. If we want to see our children grow up in a vibrant faith that they don't leave (like so many people are leaving these days), we need to start getting to the bottom of what's going on in our churches. This is part of my deep dive into figuring out exactly what's going wrong, so that we can fix it. We need more people thinking about these things, so please join us for this discussion and weigh in...what is the key, primary issue underneath it all, and what's to be done? On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 2:51 What Christianity Gets Wrong Interacting With American Culture 10:11 Influential Evangelicalism 15:02 Theology of Family 28:29 Young Churches 34:27 Post-Familial Society 42:33 Masculinity as Fatherhood? 48:19 Individual vs Family Primacy Resources Mentioned: Aaron's Newsletter: https://www.aaronrenn.com/ --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Divorce, Swamp Hags, and The Soft Underbelly of Evangelicalism (The Pryor Family Reacts!)

Sometimes the only way to process enormous issues is to get the family together and have a deep conversation. That's just what Jeremy, April, Kelsey, and Elisa did in this episode, tackling divorce and family expectations, the enormous cost of not taking swamp hag symbolism seriously, and the biggest problem in the evangelical movement. This conversation will put you on the path toward answering these societal questions yourself from a grounded, Biblical point of view, and help to shift some cultural assumptions that you may accidentally have taken for granted.
