Financially Successful Women And The Downfall Of The Family (Danica Patrick / Orion Teraban Response)

This is a major part of the fertility crisis. Feminism has made women value independence above all else, and when it comes to getting married and having kids, it's no longer "logical" to get a husband if a woman is making money. In fact, the more money women make, the less likely it is that they'll have children...which is the complete opposite of men. It's almost like feminism was designed to destroy the family or something. Hm... Dive into this conversation with Danica Patrick and Orion Teraban and find out what feminism is doing to women who decide to value the marketplace over the home. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:03 When women accumulate money 3:28 The 2 Theories 7:31 Feminism Overriding Nature 8:49 Interdependence Over Independence Resources Mentioned: Danica Patrick and Orion Teraban Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X25vRBKNKD0 FREE COURSE: 5 Days To Transform Your Family Into A Team: https://familyteams.com/transform --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com --- Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Missionalism: An Alternative to Christian Violence

The 2 main positions on violence in Christianity are Just War Theory and Pacifism. I don't like either of them. In fact, I think there's a third way that really gets to the core of who we are as Christians in a way that I believe is most biblically accurate and true to our identity as followers of Christ. I'm calling it Missionalism, and it has MUCH more to do with fulfilling Jesus' instructions to us as believers to disciple the nations than it does with justifying violence or retreating from society, as the 2 main positions would have us do. Please know that this is Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, not Family Teams or 1KH...which means I often tease out things I'm thinking about, working on, and haven't fully wrapped my head around. Because of that I'd love to get your feedback in the comment section, either on Youtube or on my Substack. Thanks! On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:21 Violence as a Christian 4:04 Just War Theory 6:19 Pacifism 7:59 A Parallel Government 11:44 Missionalism Resources Mentioned: The Patient Ferment of the Early Church by Alan Kreider: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0801048494 --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." What's Wrong With The Evangelical Church? ft. Aaron Renn

I'm excited to be joined by Aaron Renn for today's discussion about the Evangelical Church, what it's getting wrong, why it lags in influence in major institutions, and what assumptions we're getting wrong that's leading to so much of the family destruction we're seeing today. If we want to see our children grow up in a vibrant faith that they don't leave (like so many people are leaving these days), we need to start getting to the bottom of what's going on in our churches. This is part of my deep dive into figuring out exactly what's going wrong, so that we can fix it. We need more people thinking about these things, so please join us for this discussion and weigh in...what is the key, primary issue underneath it all, and what's to be done? On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 2:51 What Christianity Gets Wrong Interacting With American Culture 10:11 Influential Evangelicalism 15:02 Theology of Family 28:29 Young Churches 34:27 Post-Familial Society 42:33 Masculinity as Fatherhood? 48:19 Individual vs Family Primacy Resources Mentioned: Aaron's Newsletter: https://www.aaronrenn.com/ --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Divorce, Swamp Hags, and The Soft Underbelly of Evangelicalism (The Pryor Family Reacts!)

Sometimes the only way to process enormous issues is to get the family together and have a deep conversation. That's just what Jeremy, April, Kelsey, and Elisa did in this episode, tackling divorce and family expectations, the enormous cost of not taking swamp hag symbolism seriously, and the biggest problem in the evangelical movement. This conversation will put you on the path toward answering these societal questions yourself from a grounded, Biblical point of view, and help to shift some cultural assumptions that you may accidentally have taken for granted. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 0:20 She almost divorced her husband over this 15:11 The most confusing verse in the New Testament? 43:24 We Stopped Fearing Swamp Hags and Society Collapsed 1:01:53 The Soft Underbelly of Evangelicalism --- Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor --- Resources Mentioned: House For Community: https://www.1kh.org/communitycoaching Story Formed Life: https://www.storyformedlife.org/ --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." THIS Is Fuel For The Valleys of Fatherhood with Jeff Zaugg of DadAwesome

I've been a guest on his podcast 4 times now, so I'm excited to welcome Jeff Zaugg of DadAwesome onto the podcast. He's got a book coming out in March, so make sure to check that out (link below!). I think you'll get a good sense of Jeff in this interview, particularly the way he brings so much positivity and joy and amazement to fatherhood. If you take one thing away from this (other than that you should go RVing!) it's that idea: amazement at fatherhood itself. Let that awe be fuel to you during the dips and valleys. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:02 The Journey to Intentional Fatherhood 2:32 How To Becoming More Intentional 5:14 Counterintuitive Wisdom 8:30 Dealing With Family Resistance 11:16 Stay Amazed 16:13 RVing as a Family? Build A Family That Lasts Forever with Johann Kurtz

I'm joined today by Johann Kurtz, author of the amazing new book Leaving a Legacy. We discuss the idea of the Thousand Year Family, and talk about what modern American families can learn from aristocratic families that have lasted hundreds (or more) years. This is a deep episode that covers everything from foundational beliefs and mindset about family, wealth, theology, and legacy, to a defense of nepotism versus meritocracy (seriously), to lessons from families that last for centuries. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:13 The Thousand Year Family 7:09 How To Pass On Great Wealth Without 17:26 Theology of Legacy 24:13 For Families Considering a Liquid Exit 34:44 Creating a Ruling Family 44:14 Defending Nepotism? We Accidentally Built A Degenerate Mating System That's Leading To Polygamy

People are starting to wake up to this, and call it for what it truly is, but I still think they're hedging too much. They're not going all the way, because many people are ignorant of the freedom-obsessed sea in which they swim. This is a hugely important topic that will impact how our kids and grandkids grow up and experience life, and I want to call it out right now: We're moving into a period where there will be a cultural war between polygamy and monogamy as the Christian sexual ethic continues to be cast off in our society. In this episode I break down a recent article and share why this is so devastating and why Christians still have the best response, as long as we actually respond. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 3:00 Framing the debate 6:31 The most powerful incentive of all 8:43 Everyone hedges (and I wish they wouldn't) 11:03 The root of the problem 13:26 Polygamy vs. Monogamy Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor Resources Mentioned: Aaron Renn's Newsletter Article: https://substack.com/home/post/p-184845957 --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered." Why The Modern Corporation Might Be The "ANTI-FAMILY"

Just as there are anti-christs who will come to take the place of Christ, I believe there could be anti-families that come to take the place of family. Now I'm not saying that corporations are antichrists. But I am saying that the analogy might hold. When we shifted the locus of economic activity from the family to this new entity called the corporation...what did that actually do to the family? I'd argue it did a lot. And if we want to have flourishing families that obey God's original mandate in Genesis 1:28, perhaps we need to start thinking about how we can build within our own multi-generational family instead of building another corporate entity. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Intro 1:11 Are modern corporations The Anti-Family? 3:47 Why didn't God create corporations? 8:48 Corporations vs families Subscribe on Substack ➡️ https://jeremypryor.substack.com Follow Jeremy on: Instagram: https://instagram.com/jeremympryor/ X: https://x.com/jeremympryor Resources Mentioned: Rory Groves Podcast Episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPPClJbq2fc Take Back Your Family by Jeff Bethke: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1400221765/ --- Welcome to Jeremy Pryor's Podcast, or what I like to call, "Jeremy Pryor Unfiltered."
