Roger Goodell has floated the idea of creating a game similar to FIFA’s World Cup third-place match. Conor McGregor’s Future, Streamer University, NBA Expansion & Sports’ Biggest Con

Welcome to The Real Oshow, 0:00 Intro 0:55 Conor McGregor’s Future 5:10 Streamer University vs Harvard  8:45 NBA Expansion in Las Vegas 11:10 Sports’ Biggest Con - Carlos Kaiser 13:20 Closing Thoughts  This week we’re covering some of the biggest stories happening across sports, business, and internet culture. We break down what’s next for Conor McGregor after another devastating setback and whether we’ve already seen the final chapter of one of the UFC’s biggest superstars. Is there still a path back to the top, or has the sport officially moved on? Then we dive into Streamer University, the creator event that somehow became more competitive to get into than Harvard, and discuss what that says about the future of content creation, influencer culture, and where young people see opportunity today. We also take a deep dive into Jerry Colangelo’s bid to bring an NBA expansion team to Las Vegas. From building the Phoenix Suns into one of the NBA’s model franchises to helping land the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colangelo has done this before. We discuss why Las Vegas feels inevitable, what an expansion team could look like, and what it would mean for the league. Finally, we tell the unbelievable story of Carlos Kaiser—the man who may have pulled off the greatest con in sports history. Over the course of two decades, he convinced 11 professional soccer clubs to sign him despite barely ever playing an official match. Through fake injuries, media manipulation, celebrity friendships, and incredible confidence, he built an entire professional career without the talent to back it up. Rod Wave Going Independent, Drake Sells OVO & GTA 6’s Biggest Risk

Welcome To The Real Oshow, 0:00 Intro 1:00 Breaking Down Rod Wave Don’t Look Down Trailer 3:45 Drake Sells OVO to Authentic Brands Group 7:40 Strauss Zelnick Talks Biggest Risks With GTA 6 10:30 Hidden Business Behind Historic Sports Moments  13:00 Closing Thoughts  Rod Wave is preparing for one of the biggest transitions of his career. With his seventh studio album Don’t Look Down scheduled for release on August 28, 2026, Rod Wave is set to fulfill the final project on his current deal and enter a new era as an independent artist. We break down how he quietly built the infrastructure to make that possible, including launching his own touring company and taking control of his merchandise business. The results are staggering: what reportedly generated around $200,000 annually under traditional arrangements now brings in roughly $20 million per year through his independent operation. We also dive into the reported sale of 50% of Drake’s OVO brand to Authentic Brands Group. While the deal has not been officially finalized, reports suggest the transaction values the stake at roughly $50 million. We explain why Authentic Brands Group has become one of the most powerful licensing companies in the world and how this move could allow Drake to scale OVO globally while becoming far more hands-off in the day-to-day business. Next, we discuss one of the most fascinating stories from the NBA Finals. Josh Hart took possession of the historic Game 4 game ball following the largest comeback in Finals history, only for the NBA to reclaim it due to league agreements surrounding historic memorabilia. That leads into a larger conversation about ownership of iconic sports moments, including the Olympic gold-medal-winning hockey jersey that was preserved rather than returned to the player who wore it. With some of these items valued in the millions, we debate whether preserving them for fans and collectors ultimately benefits the hobby more than individual ownership. Finally, we break down comments from Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick regarding GTA 6. Zelnick addressed several rumors surrounding the game, discussed the company’s approach to artificial intelligence, and revealed why this is the most nervous he’s ever been ahead of a launch. With unprecedented expectations and years of anticipation, GTA 6 may become the most important entertainment release of the decade.
