From Reality TV Party Girl to Peace: Mattie Lynn Breaux

For the 20th episode of The Green Room, I sat down with someone I’ve wanted to have on for a long time: Mattie Lynn Breaux. Many people know Mattie from Party Down South, The Challenge, and Floribama Shore, but this conversation went far beyond reality TV. We talked about what it’s really like to have your entire twenties broadcast to the world, the pressure of public opinion, and how easy it is to lose yourself when everyone seems to have something to say about who you are. Mattie opened up about the highs and lows of reality television, learning to forgive herself for past mistakes, and the journey of separating her true identity from the character people thought they knew. We also got into some deeply personal topics, including grief, miscarriage, faith, healing, therapy, nervous system regulation, and the importance of finally choosing peace over chaos. This conversation felt less like an interview and more like two women sharing what they’ve learned through heartbreak, growth, and self-discovery. We talked about dating, boundaries, confidence, turning 30, finding your purpose, and why sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop dimming your light for other people. Mattie shared so much wisdom in this episode, and honestly, I walked away feeling inspired, challenged, and reminded of a few things I needed to hear myself. If you’ve ever struggled with self-forgiveness, felt stuck in survival mode, questioned your worth, or wondered if life really gets better with age, this episode is for you. This was one of my favorite conversations yet, and I think you’re going to love it.   Follow Me On Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/iamjademillion/ Podcast IG: https://www.instagram.com/thegreenroomwithjademillion/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jademillion Podcast TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thegreenroomwjademillion Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itsjademillion Spotify Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/2gTaexd5a25IlWfqAg7PsW?si=fad02fb7e5c5445e&nd=1&dlsi=37194162ca594fac Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-green-room-with-jade-million/id1636767247

Brat Since ’96: The Birthday Trip From Hell

Turning 30 was supposed to be all beach clubs, birthday glam, and “main character” energy… but instead, Lauren and I found ourselves navigating delayed flights, missing luggage, sketchy taxis, failed lymphatic drainage massages, carnival confusion, mushroom gummies, and an island transportation system that nearly took us out mentally. In this episode, we’re unpacking the entire chaotic birthday trip to the Virgin Islands, from the moment everything started going wrong at the airport to the surprisingly beautiful lessons I learned about birthdays, expectations, travel, and chasing experiences. We talk about the reality of traveling without a plan, what happens when two procrastinators try to island-hop with no structure. We also get into birthday pressure, getting older, nightlife expectations vs reality, content creator struggles on vacation, and why some of the best moments came from simply slowing down and appreciating the life we already have. You Can't Make Everyone Happy, Jut Make S*** You Like (ft. My Producer)

In this episode of The Green Room, I’m sitting down with someone who’s been a huge part of my journey over the last five years—my producer, Ryan Rasmussen. This one feels like a real behind-the-scenes look at how we actually create, think, and navigate this industry together. We get into why the first 30 minutes of a session matter more than people think, how trust and honesty shape our creative process, and what it really looks like to build something over time with the same person. I talk about being a genre-bending artist in a city that often rewards staying in a lane, and why I’ve finally embraced the idea that I am the genre.   Ryan breaks down his approach to production, why he thrives in the unknown, and how pushing into uncomfortable territory is the only way to grow. We also get real about the Nashville writing scene, co-writing vs. staying true to your voice, and why authenticity will always outperform something perfectly crafted but empty.   We dive deep into the realities of the music industry right now—touring, streaming, TikTok, and the pressure to constantly release. We talk about how success metrics can be misleading, why numbers don’t always equal sustainability, and what it actually means to build a career brick by brick. We also unpack one of my most streamed songs, “Already Yours,” and why sometimes the simplest ideas hit the hardest when the production gets out of the way and the message leads.   This episode is about trusting your instincts, surrounding yourself with the right people, and staying grounded in why you started in the first place. If you’re an artist, creative, or just someone trying to figure it out as you go—this one’s for you. Are We Behind in Life... or is Everyone Lying?

This episode is one of those chaotic, real-life catch-ups that somehow turns into a full-on life reset conversation. Lauren is back with me in the studio, and we get into everything—from me randomly ending up in a last-minute music video (and why I stayed hiding in the back), to the very unfiltered reality of our Easter weekend in Nashville. It’s messy, it’s funny, it’s probably a little too honest… but it’s real. We talk a lot about confidence—what it actually looks like in real time, not just on Instagram. From Lauren fully stepping into her power with dating, to us realizing how much energy and mindset shift everything in your life, this episode really leans into owning who you are without overthinking it. We also get into something that’s been on my mind heavy lately: turning 30. And honestly? I’m not scared anymore. I feel more clear, more confident, and more aligned than I ever did in my early 20s. We break down the idea that you’re “behind” in life, and why that’s complete b******t. This episode is part storytelling, part therapy session, and part reminder to stop taking everything so seriously. Have fun, trust your timing, and don’t let anyone convince you your best years are behind you—they’re not. Divine Timing: Jez Dior on Sobriety, Setbacks, and Starting Over

In this episode of The Green Room, I sit down with Nashville artist Jez Dior, and this one gets real, fast. We talk about what it actually looks like to grow up in the music industry… not the highlight reel, but the chaos, the pressure, and the moments you’re not ready for when everything starts happening at once. Jez opens up about blowing his first publishing check, going from blog-era virality to label meetings with no team behind him, and how chasing success in his early 20s came with some serious highs and even deeper lows. We dive into his move from LA to Nashville, and how that shift changed everything, from the people around him to the way he creates. He shares what it’s been like stepping into sobriety, how addiction has impacted his life and family, and the hard truth of realizing that the lifestyle you thought was helping you… might actually be the thing holding you back.  This conversation also gets into the artist mindset in a way I think so many people will relate to. We talk about self-sabotage, creating from pain, and the fear of losing your edge if you’re actually happy. Jaz breaks down how this new album is different, why it feels like a true “coming of age” moment for him, and how he’s finally creating from a place that’s grounded, honest, and intentional. There’s a lot of laughter in this one, but also a lot of truth. If you’ve ever felt like you’re behind, burnt out, or trying to figure out your next chapter… this episode is for you.

Why Independence Isn’t Doing It Alone ft. Jon Kilmer

In this episode of The Green Room, I sit down with Jon Kilmer. He is someone I’ve wanted to have on for a long time, and honestly, someone whose journey has shaped the way I think about my own.We get into what it really looks like to build something from the ground up... no label, no traditional team, just belief, consistency, and a willingness to figure it out as you go. John shares what it’s been like being a key part of one of the most successful independent artist teams out there, and how that path wasn’t some perfectly mapped-out plan; it was built on instinct, timing, and a lot of trial and error. We talk about the pressure of being an artist today, the constant need to show up online, and how easy it is to lose yourself in that cycle. I open up about my own struggles with burnout and escapism, and we unpack what it actually means to take care of your mind, your energy, and your creativity in an industry that doesn’t really slow down. This conversation really comes down to alignment. Finding the right people, protecting your energy, and trusting that your path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. If you’ve ever felt behind, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, this one’s for you.Follow Me On Socials:IG: https://www.instagram.com/iamjademillion/Podcast IG: https://www.instagram.com/thegreenroomwithjademillion/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jademillionPodcast TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thegreenroomwjademillionFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/itsjademillionSpotify Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/2gTaexd5a25IlWfqAg7PsW?si=fad02fb7e5c5445e&nd=1&dlsi=37194162ca594facApple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-green-room-with-jade-million/id1636767247

The "Middleman" Behind A New Era Of Artist Communities - Tim Weber

In this episode of The Green Room, I sit down with Tim Weber — someone who jokingly calls himself a “middleman of the music industry,” but in reality has spent years helping artists build smarter careers behind the scenes. We dive into the story behind Grouped, the platform Tim co-founded that’s designed specifically to help artists build deeper relationships with their fans. Tim shares how the idea started simply from trying to help friends in the music industry, and how that mission evolved into building a platform that bridges the gap between casual listeners and true superfans. We talk about why traditional platforms weren’t built with artists in mind, how fan communities are changing the way musicians build sustainable careers, and why getting your audience off social media and into a direct relationship with you can completely change the game.Since so much of my career has grown through live streaming and building community with fans online, this conversation felt especially relevant. Tim and I get into the realities of fan engagement, subscription platforms, and how independent artists can create real connection — not just chase algorithms. If you’re an artist, creator, or someone curious about how the music industry is evolving, this episode pulls back the curtain on the future of fan communities.Follow Me On Socials:IG: https://www.instagram.com/iamjademillion/Podcast IG: https://www.instagram.com/thegreenroomwithjademillion/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jademillionPodcast TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thegreenroomwjademillionFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/itsjademillionSpotify Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/2gTaexd5a25IlWfqAg7PsW?si=fad02fb7e5c5445e&nd=1&dlsi=37194162ca594facApple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-green-room-with-jade-million/id1636767247
