    who cares? short, sweet, and to the point. just like this episode. i tell you my newest hack to stopping negative, self-limiting beliefs in their tracks and how i've been forcing myself into things i'd normally talk myself out of. i let it slip that i'm now a pilates princess, but not before i talk a little bit about your inner critic vs your inner best friend, and how often it can be that the two are the same thing.

    my ins and outs: being delusional, birkenstock bostons, emf blockers, & waking up early

    a short, sweet little solo episode for you! i've been obsessed with watching "ins and outs" videos on TikTok and figured that i'm self-absorbed enough to insist that you all are dying to hear mine. and in proper form, i couldn't just simply make a one-minute video about this on a social media app. I had to use my incredibly niche audio sharing platform to tell you all about it. getting your personality back is fun! but it also seemingly makes you delusional. i talk - in grave detail - about birkenstock bostons, explaining myself, the ever-looming return of ballet flats, pilates, emf blockers, and the 5 day work week!

    hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have: 2023 new year resolutions, lucky girl syndrome, and setting intentions

    i’m finally ready to talk about it: my new year’s resolutions! i’ve always been someone who planned my year out to the t - we were setting goals, benchmarks, visualizing our highest selves. pull out your pinterest boards girls and guys, because i was strapping in to do my regular resolution manifesting routine. however, when i finally went to do it, i realized something: i didn’t feel the need to. when i thought to myself what I wanted my year to look like, i realized it was far more abstract than i was anticipating. suddenly vision boards, schedules, and tangible calendars felt frivolous and unhelpful. in this episode, i talk about setting intentions vs goals and how to bring your resolutions to a scale that may be a little bit more manageable. i talk all about the “lucky girl syndrome” phenomenon and elaborate how i’ve started incorporating the law of assumption into my life. here’s to making 2023 the year it’s meant to be - whatever that looks like.     HAPPY NEW YEAR! what better way to kick off 2023 than with our first guest? maddy muller (aka madz.liftz) is a powerlifter, lifestyle and wellness coach, and one of a kind woman. in today's episode we cover it all: from our friendship history to the correct way to use "bussin'" in a sentence. maddy has lived the grind-mentality for far too long - leading to the inevitable burnout we've all felt. however, she talks all about how it acted as a wake up call to stop living to work and start working on things that made her feel most alive. we talk all about the start of her lifestyle coaching business R.A.T Liftz and how fitness and nutrition helped her actualize her goal of helping people. this woman is a powerhouse.

    WE'RE BACK BABY! after a two month hiatus we're getting started on season two with a bang. what other way to kick things off than by launching on my birthday! today, i turn 25 and in this episode i confess to having my official quarter life crisis and how it lead me to rock bottom: fact checking buzzfeed’s “25 things i learned by 25” lists. turns out they're cringey and not-as-fun as you had thought. i also have a long awaited rant about astrology, plus a moon sign reveal (yeah, you guessed it, i have a fire moon). somehow i manage to fill 45 minutes of time talking about how sex and the city made me feel better about being in my 20s, praying for my elaborate birthday plans, my hopes for 25, but ultimately settling on my new mantra: never stop romanticizing your birthday.  NEW MERCH AVAILABLE ON: emotionalathletics.com join the team: @emotionalathletics on instagram music by: https://fivestars.bandcamp.com/releases
