Talking Star Wars - Episode 4: Episode X Rumours, Echo Base Live Preview & The HasLab Gunship

September's Talking Star Wars is here — and we're joined by Ben from the Bunker and Action Plastics, just one week out from Echo Base Live in Redditch. We kick things off with the rumour that John Watts is set to direct Star Wars Episode X and give our reaction to it. Then Ben takes us behind the scenes of his Echo Base preparation, what he's bringing to the show, and what collectors can expect to find on his tables — including a full run of the Original 96 and some seriously special graded pieces. We also react to the HasLab Republic Gunship unboxing, discuss the eye-watering US resale prices already appearing on eBay, run through the full Droid Factory Series 2 wave, look at the LEGO UCS Executor, and talk Star Wars Zero Company — the game that's already sold over a million copies. D23 has come and gone and there is a lot to talk about. Adam and Martyn are joined by Andy from Delvian Seek to break down the Ahsoka Season 2 trailer, give their first thoughts on the Star Wars Starfighter teaser, and dig into the Hasbro pricing controversy that's got the Vintage Collection community talking. Is £90 for the INT-4 too much? Is Hasbro losing interest in TVC? And what did D23 actually deliver for Star Wars fans? We get into all of it. Talking Star Wars - Episode 1: The Vintage Collection, LEGO, Mandalorian and Grogu Movie Review

Welcome to Talking Star Wars, a brand new series from A Long & Long Time Ago where Martyn and Adam set aside time each month to chat about everything Star Wars. Toys, action figures, LEGO, movies, TV shows, video games, behind the scenes news... if it's Star Wars, it's fair game. In Episode 1, we kick things off with the latest announcements from the 3.75" toy collecting world, including our thoughts on the series 2 Disney Build-a-Droid announcement. We then give our honest review of The Mandalorian & Grogu movie: what we loved, what frustrated us, and why it should have maybe been held back and used for a Season 4. We also touch on Ahsoka Season 2 being pushed to spring next year and why rewatching Season 1 changes everything. Adam has been playing some Jedi Survivor on the PS4 and he shares his experience so far, while Martyn nearly spoils it all for him. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
