A podcast for change. I discuss the most pressing societal issues today through a scientific lens. Conversations these days typically get dominated by hard-liners who fail to find any common ground between them and progress gets stalled. Therefore, this podcast was born out of the need to carry a CIVIL conversation, to listen to each side and evaluate their arguments based on FACTS and hopefully come to an understanding. Examples of topics include natural selection and why virus variants emerge and how we can get out of this pandemic and how can policing of people of colour be improved.

    Mutations and COVID-19

    In this episode, I talk about the Theory of Natural Selection and why variants of viruses emerge. I give two examples to explain this phenomenon; example one talks about why giraffes have these really long necks (and believe it or not, natural selection is the  culprit of this) and example two talks about the death-feigning behaviour of beetles. By understanding natural selection, we can understand why viruses develop new variants and why having no restrictions in place is detrimental to human health. I also do a deep-dive in the fraudulent autism and MMR vaccine correlation study that kicked of vaccine scare in 1998- and it still continues today- across the globe. I explain the original research performed and why it was fraudulent and how it was exposed. Finally, I also give my brief opinion on the Freedom Convoy that took place in Ottawa, Canada in February.
